There is not better place in Carson City for breakfast than the Cracker Box. They are a small diner with large food! There daily specials are always a hit--Saturday is Corned Beef Has!.

I was recommended to this restaurant from a former "regular." It definitely wasn't a disappointment. The orange juice is freshly made for you and the food is amazing. Don't forget to take cash, though. They don't accept cards

I had breakfast a part of a group of 17 people. A call had been made ahead and they were ready for us. After we sat down I noticed people waiting as the place is very popular. No credit cards are accepted and the on site atm charges. The omelet I had was fine and the potatoes served with breakfast... More

We tried the Cracker Box for lunch while visiting Reno. It is in every essence a true diner type place with burgers, sandwiches and breakfast offerings. We tried the black and blue chicken sandwich and the blue bacon burger. Both were tasty and fresh with the fries being hot, crispy and delicious. I would return again maybe try breakfast next time.... The Crackerbox has always been a favorite of mine and my family. You cannot go wrong with this menu. However, Adam's special for breakfast is to die for. My favorite for lunch is the patty melt. I can't wait to go back!

Oh my! The best breakfast around. I had the kitchen sink omelet and it was to die for. The potatoes were wonderful! The flavors were fantastic! I would never be afraid to take friends there.

A bit of a greasy spoon but some of the best places are. Nice thick crispy bacon, food cooked properly and quickly. Always fresh squeezed orange juice. Decently priced and nice people. BUT you better have cash or use their ATM at a cost because they only accept cash. Been here a few times and lunch is good too.

The restaurant is really small but totally worth the wait. I think it's the best breakfast spot in Carson City to eat at.

I had sausage and eggs. Their country potatoes are excellent. I was very satisfied. I chose this place because they were open a full hour before most other places (6am). Note they accept cash and checks only - no cards, but they do have an ATM.
