Hole in the wall places have good food. No weight watchers meetings here! We ordered half orders of mozzarella sticks and onion rings. 30 sticks and a pile of rings. Tons of food. Good service. Well worth the stop by.

I came here with a group and was told that everything was served in pound portions. While hearing that is intriguing, it's completely different to see a mountain of fries or cheese balls approaching the table. The burger has a one inch overhang outside the bun. Combined with the greasy interior and yellowing signs, this place really must be visited... More

Step back 40 years (decor, amenities, exterior "charm") and get ready for some incredible burgers and fries for cheap. Prepare for portions fit for a competition eater. Burger size and taste are off the charts. FYI-most people split the burgers and fried side (even at $4 ea). When arriving, if not a local, just trust your GPS...its there albeit no... More

If you are looking for a fine dining experience, skip Bob's Bar in Martinsburg. But if you want a tasty burger big enough for you and your spouse, and an order of fries big enough for the whole family, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is small town, old style bar, that hasn't changed much in 50 years.... More

We go to Bob's Bar every year while on our annual camping trip to Ponca State Park. I love small town bar & restaurants and this one is one of the best. From the outside it looks pretty divey and I guess when you are on the inside it still looks pretty divey. I always like to enjoy a glass... More

We have been there twice, 6 years apart and the burgers are still huge; like plate size. At least the second time we went they had an actual kitchen and stove to cook on. The fries are platter sized and 6 inches tall and that's a half order and the gizzards are the same size. Be hungry before you go... More

Definitely get more than what you pay for here. This dive serves you right with an overflowing basket of whatever side you choose (fries or o-rings) and then one giant slab of meat on top of a typical, cheap white bun. The only thing that could make this place better is the option of a wheat bun or local breaded... More

We unfortunately got our order in after a large party and a large to go order. It took almost two hours to get our food including the appetizers. Wouldn't recommend going on a Friday night of a holiday weekend. Might be ok during the week or a non holiday weekend. The cheeseburgers were delicious.

Hubby surprised me with a lunch date. He likes road tripping w unexpected stops along the way 😉 So we set off. When we pulled up to Bobs Bar I was skeptical but had heard good things. He wined about it (not unusual) but I said let's give it a try. We were both impressed with the food. The portions... More
