GREAT FIND! Small town diner with BIG country atmosphere. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.Server was personable and excellent -gave exceptional advice for dinner and treated us like we were neighbors. Patty melt on rye was flavorful with sweet, sautéed onions and melted cheese. Big ice berg salad with tomato and topped with lots of cheese. Iced tea was freshly brewed, not instant. Their ice cream is creamy and delicious.Very reasonably priced. Support local business!

Newer building, large seating area, very clean. Like many successful cafes, they have two "specials" at lunch each day. It makes getting good food quick and easy. The preparation was very tasty and high quality.

We were in the area for a funeral along with other people from out of town and we needed a place to gather after the service and console each other. The owner went WAY beyond out of her way to accommodate us. That was kind and wonderful enough, but then the FOOD! Oh my goodness! So delicious - the chicken melted in your mouth. I can still taste it. Plus the dining room is so cute - a lovely atmosphere. Don't miss a chance to go there.

Came on a rainy Thursday night after a ball game. The food was delicious and priced reasonably. I thought the macaroni salad was fantastic but heard another say it was too sweet. I got a burger and macaroni salad, 2 kids meals( chicken nuggets and corn dogs) and a bacon cheeseburger with cauliflower. Delicious

Great food and atmosphere. We arrived pretty late from Niobrara State Park and all ordered the special for the day which was excellent. There were a couple of items on the menu they had run out of for day which was a little disappointing. We will stopping again someday and will be sure to bring cash or a check.

Best bean soup I have ever had. Very clean and friendly place. Reasonably priced, definitely worth a stop if you are in Niobrara area.

I had grilled cheese and onion rings and it was great. the rings were fantastic. they don't take credit cards though, so be prepared with cash

Went in on a Sunday morning. Place was fairly empty when I got there but started to fill before I left.
Basic fare....well prepared. The place has a home town feel.
The waitress was very welcoming. I had questions about the flooding and damages that occurred last spring and she went out of her way to answer them.
REMEMBER ....the place only takes cash ...

I had the special - hot ham sandwich, Southwest bean soup,ice tea and ice cream and a cookie! Lots of food and good pricing. Bring cash or check - no cards accepted. Worth the stop!!

We had a group of 6 for dinner on Friday night. We arrived and were promptly seated. The drink orders arrived quickly. All but one ordered buffet. The choice of main dish is fish or chicken and a nice selection of side dishes. No frills, but good testing , reasonably priced food.
No check, just pay at the register when you are ready.

My husband, grandson, and I had planned to go tubing down the river the following morning but we had to find a place in town that we could get breakfast and sandwiches to put in our cooler for later on. Our breakfast was very good. We explained our situation and they happily made a delightful lunch. They put in 2 potato salads, 1 macaroni salad, along with 3 delicious real ham sandwiches. It wasn't processed lunch meat, it was ham cut off the bone. Yummy! We were very impressed It was obvious that they took great care in preparing our lunch. Mind you this was done at 8am,when technically all they serve is breakfast. We were very appreciative of their effort, the food, and service!

The food and service at Country Cafe is outstanding. The interior decor is very attractive. The noon special usually offers a meat, vegetable, potato, dinner roll, drink, and dessert. In the colder months the special will be a homemade soup and sandwich.

In the area recently on a golf outing and stopped in for breakfast. Great food, good service, very friendly and homey. Sausage gravy and biscuits, bacon, hash browns, eggs and sausage and cinnamon rolls were all good. Plenty of hot coffee too! As others noted, bring cash!
