Perfect evening! Our server, Megan, was a pro from start to finish. Her timing was impeccable and the food and wine were delicious. The Brussels Sprouts and Brie appetizers were perfect as well as the crisp salad. My tomahawk pork chop was moist and succulent...as well as my friends entrees. Leave room for dessert...we tried 3 and loved them all. Thank you all for a wonderful dinner! Can’t wait to return!More

We had an amazing dinner at Green Gateau. The restaurant was taking Covid precautions very seriously (tables distanced, servers masked, sanitizer at the door). The waitress was extremely knowledgeable of their menu and every recommendation she made from drinks to food was spot on. Service...was quick and food was delicious. Highly recommend the Brussels Sprouts for an appetizer!More

I really wish I could have given this restaurant a good review, but my experience was not a good one. I have been wanting to eat here for 25 years, having heard many great things about it, unfortunately, I could never get anyone to go...with me. Finally, for a special birthday, I insisted on going for brunch. I was really looking forward to an excellent meal. I have dined at other restaurants where former chefs of the Green Gateau now work and have had excellent meals. We had reservations, and after being seated waited a long time to receive a menu. Our waitress did not tell us about any specials. The waitress at the table next to ours was very friendly and told her table about all the specials in great detail and was prompt to bring her table drinks, while we were still waiting for ours. When our waitress finally returned with our drinks she did not offer us any straws or sugar for the coffee and tea. We asked her about the specials and she only named them off and didn't give any description of them as the other waitress did. We had a long wait for the food, again table next to us was served before us even though they had arrived after us. When the food came no silverware did. We pointed out that we had no silverware and she returned with 3 sets for our party of 4 and we had to wait several minutes to get the other set. I had ordered a potato pancake and was given hashbrowns. When this was pointed out to the waitress she brought more hashbrowns. The waitress never said that was their potato pancake. The diners at the table next to us told us that it was confusing but what I was being served was their potato pancake. I'm sorry to have to inform the chef, but potato pancakes are made out of MASHED potatoes. What he served is a loaded hashbrown that barely looks any different from the regular hashbrown. This should be clearly explained on the menu. I love REAL potato pancakes and was looking forward to having one, but that is not what I got. I went to the restroom before I left and the floor all the way through the center of the room and down the hall was sticky and my shoes stuck to it making a lot of noise. Overall, this experience was a huge let down, especially on a special occasion.More

One of my all time favorites for Sunday brunch with friends. Bloody Mary’s, mimosas, cappuccinos, and delicious food. We’ve never been disappointed.

Worth the detour!! The food was as good as I expected from the reviews and the service and atmosphere was fantastic. I had the French Slam and my husband had the Eggs Oscar with a huge potato pancake. Both were wonderful!! We also tried the...fresh baked blueberry scone with lemon curd and it was delightful.More

My wife and I choose this restaurant for a celebration night out, travelling in from a small town nearby. Wow, the quality of the food and service were at a level I would have expected at a much higher price point. A very pleasant and...memorable experience.More

If I could give it more stars I would! My bf looked at this place more than once but decided on a downtown pub. Then we drove by it on the way to the pub that ended up being packed so we went back here!...Amazing!!! We were the first ones at 5. We had our own corner due to COVID19 until the last 5 minutes of our time there. The waiter was helpful and super nice! Beer was half off and my drinks were delish! All the food from our soups to the entre and even the desserts were the best! We are not from here but already want to come back for a visit!!!More

One of the top restaurants in Lincoln. Virus safe. Also, offers limited outdoor seating. Weekend brunches are fabulous. Bignets are light & delicious - IMHO they are the best pastries in the city. Eggs Benedict are killer dishes. We need to support these places or...they will be going under soon!More

In this summer of COVID we felt very comfortable dining in. All potential areas of concern were being addressed professionally. The food was simply elegantly served and very delicious. My husband had the buttered Filet and I had the Trout with roasted veggies.

I agree with the other posters - 25-30 might be their max for a group. I have been to their adjoining venue in a large group. I don’t know if they have still have that space. I would give them a call and ask.
