This is located on the campus of UNL and is run by the students. Great ice cream (love the bubble gum!) and there's cheeses as well. A little tricky to find, but worth the trip. Get your ice cream and take it outside on a pretty day, or there's plenty of indoor seating that provides high chairs for any littles... More

Stop in for a cone and choose from several flavors - lilac, sweet corn, rocky road, or some of the all-time favorite vanilla. Service is great, ice cream and cheese is made on site, and the ice cream is hand scooped. It's kind of like the gold ol' days. The Store has evening and weekend hours, so chances are it's... More

Stop in here and meet guys and gals who are training to be our next farmers! They make ice cream, cheese, sausage and more. All are for sale in the store, some made into gift baskets. I ordered a chocolate sundae with 2 dips of ice cream. The student serving me said, "Oh, that's a LOT of ice cream." So... More

This UNL snack shop has been a tradition for us for 40+ years. A tremendous selection of real ice cream is only exceeded by their wonderful cheeses. They also serve espresso drinks. There is a nice seating area.

This was a bit out of the way to find on UNL campus, but we enjoyed the local cheese selection and the ice cream was fine.

Even without Cheese Curds the selection at the UN L Dairy Store is impressive. Try the Cappuccino Ice Cream for a great treat on a warm afternoon.

We stopped here for ice cream and were very happy with our choice. My husband's family are ice cream connoisseurs so are hard to please. However, this was perfect in their view - rich and creamy but not overly sweet. They have a wide variety of flavors. We also bought some of their local made cheese which turned out to... More

We met friends at the dairy on a Sunday afternoon. There is a great variety of flavor. Ran into 2 other couples we knew. Great ice cream.

I'm not gonna lie, I LOVE the UNL dairy store. No ambiance- it's on the east campus of the University of Nebraska. No singing for tips- it's staffed by students. No disappointments- their ice cream, made on campus, is fantastic! You never know what new flavor a student had invented! On one visit, they had grape ice cream! In addition... More
