This place rocks the fresh. The food is so yummy. The people are kind. The place is clean and did I mention the 12 year old boy in me giggles at the name every time I see it. Call ahead for take out and get...a discount for cash. You’ll be back.More
We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed yet. The service is always friendly. The food is incredibly fresh and delicious. I suggest they add more crab to the crab rangoon as it is more just cream cheese rangoon than anything else....The steam dumplings are delicious. I always order Chicken Fried Rice without onions and either Chicken Or Steak Vegetables. Oh yeah, and the egg rolls are just as yummy. Definitely will keep coming backMore
My wife and I ate here today. This is a spacious restaurant with some nooks for added privacy if you'd like. Wife had Shrimp and I had General Tsao's Chicken. Both were excellent meals. Lunch portion was plenty big, but not nearly as much food...as you would get in the lunch portion at Chopsticks. Prices are also just a bit higher than Chopsticks as well. Wife had some sort of strange tea blend that she stated was marvelous. She loves those strange beverages. Service was fast and friendly. I definitely recommend this place.More
Our whole family loves Mr. Hui's 2. It's our favorite Chinese restaurant in Lincoln. We eat here about once a month, and they're a go-to for family birthday celebrations. Love the peanut butter chicken, steamed dumplings, and pineapple shrimp. They even let us order a...daily special no longer on the menu -- the sizzling black pepper beef. Yum!More
We chose this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. How lucky we were! The food was fabulous. Each of us ordered one of our "go to" Chinese entries. The first bite put each of us into Chinese "foodie" heaven. What a surprise to...find this fabulous Chinese restaurant tucked away in the middle of Lincoln NE. We will be back!More
The service is good and the food is great. We're both from small towns with little access to Asian food so we ordered enough food for several meals & took it home. The combo fried rice, happy family, and combo low mein were well worth...it.More
Surprise, surprise, surprise. Here is a real Chinese restaurant tucked away in middle America. We got General Toas Chicken, egg drop soup and Fu Zhou rice noodles with beef. It was great. The servers did well.
We have been eating here for approximately 3 years and have always enjoyed the food and experience. Service can be strained during very busy periods but they are always friendly and helpful. The food is top notch and consistent. Best Hot and Sour soup in...town hands down. Not your average Americanized mall food which is a welcome change to the Lincoln Chinese food choices. The sizzling beef is a piece of showmanship in itself. The lunch portions are fair, the kids love the General Tao's chicken which is never greasy. The quality of their food is a tier above. I love their Hot and Spicy Shredded Pork, my wife loves their Hunan Shrimp. At least give the establishment a visit and see for yourself.More
We have given up trying to find good Chinese food back home and were pleased to find Mr. Hui's 2 in Lincoln. Everything was delicious, nicely seasoned and attractively presented. Decor is typical old school Chinese. Our family group was seated in a private alcove...with a round table and lazy Susan. Waitstaff took special care of an infirm family member. Our orders were taken promptly and food came out in a timely manner. Our waitress seemed confused at our plan to share our meals. We could not get dinner plates, just small ones, but all worked out fine.
I particularly enjoyed the duck dish and the shredded pork dish. Next visit I might try some squid or frog legs, if I am with more adventurous diners. My GPS directed me to only to a group of stores, had to drive around to find the restaurant. Coordinates N40.7707, W96.6225. I am ready to return to Mr. Hui's No. 2.More
