We often stop in Grand Island when travelling and we always enjoy El Toro. Yesterday I had Enchiladas Rancheros. Spicy and well prepared. And the portion sizes are reasonable.

El Toro is definitely a good place to have Mexican food here in GI. Not my first choice by any means but probably second or third choice. Good service and good food! The prices are really fair! One thing they do better than most is their chips and salsa! So delicious

This place is pretty nice I would recommend for anyone who likes Mexican food. The price here is pretty decent the locations next to the mall so its not bad if you like shopping. It can get pretty busy at dinner time go a little early on Friday Saturday to get a seat

Several of my family members and myself chose this restaurant for lunch on a day we were in Grand Island to visit my Mother in the hospital. The place is nice, the service good and the food was enjoyed by all!

I really appreciate the great and friendly service, truly a necessity. The food is wonderful, but honestly I have a hard time trying various dishes, I loved the first dish I ordered and keep ordering it. Not being a big drinker, I only order a margarita once in a while, Yum. If I had a criticism, it would only be... More

Don't get me wrong, the food is good, if a bit bland, but the service is so poorly organized that you may find it takes much longer than you anticipated to order, to get your food after it has been ordered (ours arrived cold and incomplete), and you may have to ask for beverage and chip refills. The folks appear... More

Pros: Delicious, authentic Mexican food. Nice variety on menu. Complementary chips and salsa (chips are perfect), friendly quick service. Reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere. Cons: I've been here a handful of times, and my (or my friend's) orders have been a little messed up a couple of times. (Chicken quesadilla when I ordered a cheese quesadilla, forgot the a la carte'... More
