Anytime we visit Nebraska we have to visit Runza. I love the sweet berry salad. The best fast food salad I ever had. It is delicious. The poppy seed dressing is great, feta cheese, cranberries, walnuts and grilled chicken. Love it! The Runzas are hamburger, cabbage and toppings wrapped up in baked bread. They are tasty. You have to try... More

We had never heard of this chain before. We were delighted with the food we ordered. If this was in our area, we would visit it frequently!

Not much to choose from in Gothenburg if you don't know the area. Runzas are a Nebraska thing and I wasn't sure of a local place to get one. Do yourself a favor if you have never had a runza: don't get your first one here and seek out a local restaurant. Average at best, but I guess better than... More

This restaurant is consistently friendly and their food is always great! They bring it to your table even though it is fast food. It's hometown excellent. Their fries are my favorite of any restaurant! Their ice cream, brewed iced tea, and beef is excellent quality! The Spicy Jack Runza is my specialty order. Along with the bacon cheese burger!!!

Okay, based on the name alone, I wasn't going to visit, but after my resident NE friends insisted-we stopped for a quick bite on the way out of the state. We had the grilled chicken salad, French fries, mushroom Swiss Runza and all were quite tasty! I was very pleased and will return.

A local favorite and franchise in Nebraska. Their signature sandwich is a crumbled ground beef and cabbage with a tender bread baked around the beef and cabbage. Nicely seasoned and offers options for adding cheese, mushrooms and more. Friendly, clean, and attentive to customers.

Runza restaurants are being developed primarily in Nebraska, but based on our experience this chain will grow. The interior was immaculate with plenty of room including a sunny "enclosed porch." The original Runza sandwich is a taste treat. There are several varieties. The burgers were huge and the price was right.

Since we were in Nebraska we decided to give their popular local chain a try - Runza. First let me say that I am always glad when an area has something more local (even if a chain) and not just a cookie cutter of something I could get anywhere nationally. That alone earned them a star in my book. And... More

We were crossing through Nebraska en route to Yellowstone. Stopped in Gothenburg to see the Pony Express (fun), the Mud Hut (fun and informative, also disappointed it is a replica), and at Runzas. I would give it 0 stars if I could. The people working there were like zombies, like our group from Chicago left them in shock. The food... More

Eat elsewhere. Runza is the best kept secret in Nebraska. They should keep it. Soggy bread with greasy meat and processed cheese. Nasty. Onion rings were good though! Oh, and if you are thinking "She's not from Nebraska, she doesn't get it.", bad food is bad food anywhere. I love bierrocks, and Runza is not a bierrock. Not even close.... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. I am personally very sorry that your experience at Runza was not as you had hoped it would be. If ever in Nebraska again, I would love to encourage you to give us another shot. More
