Great lunch- enjoyed the yummy mussels. Children enjoyed the kids menu & husband open steak sandwich. Lovely friendly staff including the chap picking us up from the mooring. Easy place to hang out for a couple hours, & children having fun on the beach/water/rope swing.

We travelled to Lochmara Bay for the day, and ate here for lunch. It was ok, but not quite what we expected. There was nothing vegetarian on the lunch menu, so we ate off the snack menu - nachos, bread and dips and fries. All were standard stuff, and at the expensive end of the scale. Don't get me wrong... Came here for late lunch on the 6th of Jan and it was one of the nicest days I had in the sounds! The weather was perfect and so we got a table outside. I had the open steak sandwich and my friend had a pulled pork sandwich and everything was great! Really nice atmosphere and in a stunning location.... More

Lochmara offer regular ferries that take you over to eat and enjoy the beautiful setting. We went new years eve... we had a beautiful barbque meal with great salads and dessert. The trip over by boat and the meal was $80 which is pretty good value for money. On other occasions we have got boat over during the day and... More

Absolutely delicious - steak and venison particularly recommended, they were both perfection! Quite pricey but worth it! Service was great and all the staff were really lovely. Lovely spot for dinner, beautiful views across the bay.

We've been a number of times now to Lochmara cafe, and have called in for a light lunch or drinks after being boating for the morning. The food is simple, but tasty and well presented and the environment is pristine. If you're using your own boat, call ahead on VHF channel 67 and they will let you either tie up... More

A last minute decision to come out to Lochmara and pleased we did. A hidden gem. Excellent food and friendly service, it impressed our group. Suggestion; ambient music. The birds are lovely to listen to, however, background guitar or instrumentals would make it magic.

Would come back just to eat that. It was PERFECT. Melts in your mouth. Wasn't too impressed with everything else on Lochmara but the salmon was just. Perfect.
