Small crowded and busy but definitely worth the wait. As noted elsewhere the carbonara is to die for. A large portion that could be shared. Also enjoyed the linguini with clam sauce. Great service this is the real deal.

Very delicious meals. Large too, probably could have shared with my Husband. Linguini carbonara is what I got and it was one of the best meals I've had. Must go for dinner 👍🏼

We were staying overnight in Kalispell but couldn't find much in the way of higher end restaurants so a 20 minute drive got us to Whitefish and an excellent meal. The entire menu is customizable so I got my pasta done to my taste. The sauce was flavorful and spicy as I ask d for it. The salad fresh and... More

We arrived at restaurant just as it opened at 5 pm. We were immediately seated on balcony. Service was great, food was delicious. The garlic bread was phenomenal. Try the tootsie rolls - pretty filling, though! I highly recommend this place.

Good pick! We were sick of traditional bar food on our trip and wanted to find a place for a good meal. This hit the spot! Tiny restaurant, but cool that we could see the staff prepping all of the food. Neat ambiance. The food was tasty, and there is a lot to choose from on the menu. Service was... More

Took mom to Glacier for birthday #82. Second stop on the way was Ciao Mambo. Good choice. Wait staff was amazing. I mean AMAZING! Friendly, fast, competent and happy. We did wait a bit since the place was rocking. Busy and loud and happy people everywhere. Food was delicious and aplenty so who cares. Atmosphere was fun and mom had... More

The salads are fresh, the portions are large. However, the food is really an American interpretation of Italian. The spaghetti and meatballs was really linguini and meatballs. The meatballs had too many breadcrumbs and were covered in mozzarella cheese which I have never seen - anywhere. The "side" pasta was under the eggplant parmesan which was rather cheesy. The sauces... More

We visited Ciao Mambo on a Thursday night in August and the place was jumpin'! We had a short wait outside to get seated, and unfortunately someone has to be seated next to the bathroom, and that was us. The wait staff was quick and competent, the volume loud from people obviously enjoying themselves. Once the food arrived, nothing else... More

My wife and I had gotten a good recommendation for Ciao Mambo. We wondered if in Montana, we could get decent Italian food. We were not disappointed. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to customers. And I'm happy to say the food was good. We had a pizza and split one of the salads on the menu. And... More
