We stopped in for a quick treat and found some yummy choices: the best brownie I’ve ever had and a delicious oat, nut and caramel bar. Walk off the calories at the Living History museum close by. The restaurant next store was a good place...for breakfast, fast, friendly service.More

Aug 08th @ 8o clock in the morning we dined there for breakfast. A day before we already knew that nutten will be open in Virginia city for breakfast. So we were glad to have a hot meal before hit the road on our trike....Like for a population of 7 people and the stylish building they have wonderful food. Young man name Christopher served us, friendly, polite and fast and we appreciate his service. Thank you very much.More

This is our family’s go to breakfast spot and has been for 35 years. Great baked goods, full Montana breakfasts and wonderful pancakes. It’s in Nevada City and just a mile from Virginia City. Stay at the cabins behind the restaurant and then explore the...historic town and buildings. Take the train to Virginia CityMore

Stopped by after Cowboy Church because previous summers it’s been wonderful. Today was a TOTAL disappointment! 2 in our party couldn’t have eggs Benedict because they didn’t have any more eggs, then the waitress came back to ask if the one eggs Benedict that was...ordered would be ok if the yolks were hard...they couldn’t get them cooked soft. Eventually the food came out (no silverware or napkins). I ordered migas and I wish I would’ve taken a picture. I never send things back, but this did. Over cooked eggs, no sour cream or cilantro, burned hash browns. No one in my party finished their breakfast. We won’t be back unless it gets back to the quality they had in years past.More

Myself and my husband were visiting from northwest Georgia. We were referred by the lady at the visitors center to go have lunch at Star. So, we did. The building and the decor was lovely and nostalgic. We were seated and my husband excused himself...to the restroom and the female waitress asked me what we wanted to drink. I asked if they had coke and she said yes, and I said then we will have 2 cokes please. Guess what she said back to that? She looked kind of uninterested and puzzled at me and said “so, NOT diet then?” It took me off guard and I was confused so I said, “no, not diet.” She walks away, and I’m completely baffled. My husband comes back and I tell him what she said and he was shocked as well. She brings out our drinks. I wish now that I had looked into my cup immediately but didn’t because I didn’t think I needed to. In a couple minutes I was kind of sick at my stomach, even telling my husband I felt nauseated, so I was going to take a sip. Before I could, I noticed the contents of my glass. Inside the red cup, laying on top of the dark liquid, was an oily substance that wasn’t mixing with the coke, and it had tiny bits of something floating all across it, resting and collecting on the sides of my glass. I was so grossed out!!!!!! She finally comes back to ask us what our order is and I asked if I could have another cup and drink and showed her the contents of my cup. She looked about as concerned as I figured she’d be, took my glass, and returned in a moment with a new one with no oily sheen on top. At this point I’m thinking she’s a robot. That would be the only explanation for the responses that a paying, respectful customer is getting. My husband had a bbq sandwich and I had a Cuban. We waited almost an hour for two sandwiches that were lackluster at best. Even if she hadn’t been insulting, even if she didn’t have the personality of a wet paper sack, even if my cup didn’t have a foreign substance in it that made me sick, even if it didn’t take forever, I would’ve given the food a horrible review. The only thing worse than the experience was having to pay actual, hard-earned money for it. While waiting to get out of the place another couple was sat behind us. They asked for a specific kind of beer I believe and were told they didn’t have it. So they ordered something else and the female asked for just tea, with lemon. Twice, while waiting to get out of the place, the female had to ask for her drink with lemon, again. The same waitress could not have cared less and u could see it written all over her face. She wasn’t even trying to hide the fact that she had no intention of being friendly or helpful in any way. The female customer finally got so upset she said out loud “the waitress has an awful attitude problem!” Just don’t go and save ur time and money. Honestly, I’ve never had an experience like this in my entire life. There’s a gas station nearby. Choose anything they have there. You will thank me later.More

The food was fine, but definitely not the great experience we had expected, based on a referral. The food is what you would expect to get at any restaurant that served similar items.

It was a pit stop on our way out of Yellowstone. I would go back in a heartbeat if I find myself in the area again. Had a scrambled egg dish with bell pepper and crunchy tortilla strips. Stopped at the bakery to grab a...snack to go. Apricot turnover was on point.More

This little Bakery is amazing. The pastries are so delicious and well made. We met the owner and she is very sweet and very talented in making baked goods. I would highly recommend stopping by for some sweet treats! The Restaurant is very good too....We had breakfast there. There servings are quite plentiful, great food for your buck!More

This place is great for breakfast but I like their lunch. They really have a great selection of healthy fresh sandwiches with good breads. The bakery has wonderful delights that feel like you’ve visited your favorite friend’s house that bakes! Made with loving care and...delicious! I believe they shut down in the off-season but be sure to visit in summer! The patio deck is a wonderful cozy spot with a hops covered pergola.More
