Good food and good service make up for the antiquated setting. On the other hand, the setting says "small town Montana." As locals, we eat here a lot.

We arrived just as the restaurant was closing and they were kind enough to let us in so that we could buy pie to go. There Blackberry, apple caramel, and rhubarb pies were excellent! I love to go back and try it for lunch or dinner sometime.

This little cafe is a great place to eat and meet the locals. The food was very good and the staff was great.

Typical plain vanilla local lunch spot. Soups and sandwiches caint go wrong. Obviously local regulars.

With a unannounced large group for breakfast. They handled it well. Good was nothing special but really, pancakes and eggs are pretty basic. Portions are large and Jen our waitress was very efficient and friendly. Pancakes seemed to be the best value! Free wifi!

If you're some kind of vegan or gluten intolerant, or tofu-tarian... and hate huntin' & fishin', this ain't your place. If you want a gut-fillin' breakfast or lunch, well, then it is. I eat there all the time...great pancakes, sausages, biscuits 'n gravy....goood coffee and lots of local color. Ain't fancy, but it's good. The locals are the best part...rich... More

Recently moved to the area, Stevensvillie MT USA! Just about center of the Bitterroot Valley in Western Montana. Small town people with some serious skills. Ordered an old favorite, Philly Steak sandwich, fries and a drink.... set me back about 7.95! Great sandwich, way more meat than I expected and cooked to perfection. This is one of the reasons I... We didn't realize there was another seating area besides the "bar" side until we left. I don't know how the diner side was, but the bar area, where there were other people eating as well, was filthy. The floor didn't seem like it had been cleaned in a month and the lights, which almost each fixture had 1-2 bulbs out,... More

We went with a party of 11 for breakfast - great menu with wide range of breakfast choices including eggs, French toast, with potatoes or even grits (which our friends visiting from Alabama had). BEST hot chocolate and lemonade too!
