What a gem of a place to eat breakfast. We drove past it and turned around and decided to try it. Boy, I am sooooooooooooo glad we did. My pancakes were wonderful and my husband's eggs were perfect. The bacon was from a local farm...More

Though the service was kind of slow and the bathroom facilities are a bit dodgy, this place is a fine place to have a meal. They have an interesting menu full of great food. It is full of atmosphere of the lodge variety, just right...More

A must for breakfast. I rarely find food that beats my home cooking but this place really does. I will visit again if I get back out there. The pumpkin bread, pancakes, French toast and meat were perfect!

Great service, great food. Family run cafe with honest, good food & service. Cafe had a great local feel about without being cliche.

Great food, great service would definitely recommend this place. It stayed open until 10 PM so you could still spend all day in the park and come back and have a really good meal. They also had homemade pies and great breakfasts.

The owners of Blue Sky Cabins in Red Lodge recommended that we stop here for lunch on our way from the Grand Tetons rather than going on to Cooke City. We are so glad we did! When we arrived, the cafe was empty, so we...More

Description
Our meals are homemade, right in our 1937 log cabin kitchen. We uphold a longstanding tradition; creating wholesome and delicious dishes from only the most pure and nourishing ingredients. Many of our ingredients come from right here in Montana, like our famous Beartooth Burger, made from beef raised in the shadow of the Beartooth plateau. Our ingredients recall home cooking of the past, when folks gathered to share authentic dishes from nearby sources. Like the meals we all might have tasted at grandmother’s table years ago, the Log Cabin serves a feast of fresh, hearty and delicious flavors! For Yellowstone explorers seeking real recipes to fuel their passionate wilderness quests— weary of finding only overcooked, overpriced, brown glob, masquerading as a meal— the Log Cabin offers simple, nutrient-dense meals that surprise the senses. Your sources are sustainable and local rising to the hope of national parks to preserve nature for future generations. And our magical original log dining room soothes modern stressors. Unchanged since 1937— rooted deep like that dense pine forest sheltering us— the Log Cabin and its savory meals have been a timeless treasure for decades.
