I came here for the fried chicken but the darn fryer is broken so I ended up with pork chops which was very good. The barley soup was very salty. The mash potatoes were great. The portions are rather large such that I did not have any room for dessert. The service was excellent. I would come back again ;... More

Great food, wonderful friendliness in a neat setting. We didn't stay at this campground but we were close by and glad we stopped in to check it out.

Somewhat limited menu but the food quality is good. Good, quick service - our food came fast, though they weren't busy when we were there. Be aware that the desserts are really good and they come in large portions!

I read about Johnson's online before our trip. We tried it for a late lunch our first day on the way to Many Glacier Area. WOW! Awesome food! My husband had the unlimited beef barley soup. He said it was amazing! It was served with a basket of thick slices of homemade bread. I ordered a burger. It was fresh... More

We were staying next door while hiking in nearby Glacier NP and walked over for dinner one evening. There are few places to eat on the east side of Glacier, but you can still get good eats. I have the fried chicken and my son a bison steak. Both were very good with everything being served family style. My son... More

A member of our crew coming off the boats at Many Glacier told me about this place. "best place...hands down!" he smiled. And he was right. Who would have thought this little cabin at the top of the hill would make such yummy food! My husband had roast beef, and I had a salad. It just melted in your mouth!... More

The 4 of us ate here on a Sunday when the special is their fried chicken, which our waiter said was their best meal. So 3 of us ordered it.while our 4th ordered a steak with a side salad. All meals are served family style, which is OK but worth noting. The beef barley soup and the bread were very... More

We had the fried chicken family style dinner. Soup and biscuits were great, coleslaw good and chicken OK. Not many options around here. We enjoyed reading pages from the visitor log (under glass at our table) and seeing the old farm equipment.

Very rustic and adorable little restaurant near St. Mary Resort. We ordered and our meal was out in 5 minutes. Unbelievably fast. We ate around 10:00 am so that could be the reason for speed and availability of seating at Johnson's. Food was good.

Homemade, Family-Style, and HUGE portions! I would eat 4 meals a day here (breakfast, lunch, dinner & dessert) if I could manage that much food! This place should be FAMOUS for that wonderful HOMEMADE bread that comes on every sandwich and with every dinner plate. Johnson's serves breakfast until noon and begins dinner service at 5. Everything is so delicious,... More
