We ate here for supper with our kids. Service was fast, the menu had a lot of options and the food was great! I enjoyed my coconut shrimp tacos.

Ummm. No. We took a couple to lunch to thank them for a favor they did for us. The waitress was friendly but the food was not good. They had 3 out of 4 meals wrong. My beans and rice was cool. The taco (...flour) was not fresh but stale and somewhat soggy. I don’t know what happened but it was ( sorry to say) the worst Mexican food I have ever had. Even though a large portion of our meals were cool if not cold it was also tasteless. We didn’t want to make a fuss but when we all walked out we all said it wasn’t very good. 125.00 plus tip for terrible taste. Will not return ever again. Was the blandest food I have had in years. Go to go the little place south. Very tasty and a third the price.More
My most SINCERE apologies!! That is not typically how we do business. We take great pride in our food & nearly every item on our menu is made in house daily. That being said, we certainly did not live up to your expectations or ours...More
Stopped in for some lunch. I hadn't been in for several years. I have been going to Bogart's since the mid-90's, maybe even before that. They've gone through a remodel (which it probably needed) at some point in the mid-2000's I believe, but everything was...still the same where it matters. The food was great (we had three tacos and a smothered burrito), the beer was cold, and the service was friendly. A great place to stop after hitting the slopes.More
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a nice review!!! We truly appreciate your business & are glad we could live up to your expectations! CHEERS!!!
In from Minnesota visiting with friends, enjoyed a beautiful trip to Red Lodge. Our friend had enjoyed Bogart's years ago and we felt like be nostalgic and giving it a try! I honestly can't stop thinking about our meal. I could go on and on...about the Beef Chimichanga. It was packed with meat, and amazingly crispy, not greasy. I preferred no sauces on top and they added shredded cheese....amazing! And the Margarita....oh my word! Went completely out of my comfort zone and ordered the Spiced Pear Margarita (our server, Austin recommended)...to die for!! Honestly....it was a gourmet experience. Amazing flavors and the sugar combination on the rim....enjoy every little lick! Just a adorable place with an exceptional meal. Thanks for having us....it was truly a pleasure to dine with you!More
Such a WONDERFUL review!!! We very much appreciate the accolades! I will share this with my kitchen staff as well as Austin! They take a lot of pride in what they do & your review proves that! Thank you for this & for your business!!!...More
As we were walking around town, we decided to stop in for one of their famous margaritas. Nate, the bartender, did not disappoint. The substantial margaritas were delicious, and he's been here for 22 years so he had great advice for things to do. We...came to red Lodge October 14, and after having read that the Beartooth Pass will be open until the end of the month, looked forward to driving it. Unfortunately, it closed Columbus Day weekend. Nate had suggestions of alternative routes that were just as beautiful although not as dangerous. He also told us where to get bear spray! We did not eat dinner here but we write the bar with five stars.More
Thank you so much for this awesome review!! Nate is a definite gem!!! So glad you enjoyed your stop at Bogart's & your visit to Red Lodge!! Cheers & safe travels to you!!
We ate here at the recommendation of the hotel. We called in take out and made a note we did not want shredded beef but rather ground beef. We repeated the order and went to pick it up. The bag smelled delicious and was hot....We got to the hotel and realized we had shredded beef. My husband called back and the hostess snarked it came with shredded beef. He explained that is why we made sure to ask for ground beef and she is the one that took the order. We were not upset these things happen. She HUNG up on him. Surely that was a mistake, NOPE! We realized we did not get the extra refried beans so he called back to let her no we were on the way and did not get the beans and she HUNG up again! Are you freaking kidding me! No, sorry about that, no, it will be ready in few, nothing but click! So, I went in and she saw me at the desk and ignored me for several minutes. She finally came out of the back and brought me the bag and handed it to me and walked away. WOW! We were never rude or upset. I should have asked for the manager at this time but at this point, our food was getting cold. So, the food was good, it might have been great but we did not get to eat it hot. The cost of her screw up and attitude cost this local restaurant a significant amount of money fixing her mistake and a slap in the face to the kitchen that worked hard to prepare a quality meal. So, my rating is based on the food which would have been a 5 if I had gotten to eat it first time around. The service was a 2. On a side note, I tipped 20% on take out when I picked up the food.l I know times have been difficult for everyone.More
I am horrified! I am so very sorry that this happened...this is NOT the typical way we do business. As a matter of fact, quite the opposite. I would sincerely like to chat with you personally! It would help me to correct this situation with...More
Absolutely yummy food with a big variety for the person in your party who might not want Mexican. The service was great, friendly and FUN! Highly recommend. If we make it back to Red Lodge we will eat here again!
Thanks for the wonderful review!! We greatly appreciate your business & will love to have you back! Cheers & safe travels!!
I stopped in for dinner and got there just before 8 PM, which is when they closed. The kitchen was still taking orders so I ordered the shredded beef chimichanga. It was crispy but not greasy, and loaded with shredded beef. They also have fresh...chips and salsa. The salsa is homemade and very tasty. At the recommendation of my waitress, I had the coconut mango margarita and it was terrific. Great food and great service. I would highly recommend this place.More
Thank you so very much John! We are very appreciative of your business & accolades!!! Great photos as well!! Cheers to you & yours!!
My wife and I stopped here for dinner on an overnight stay in Red Lodge. This restaurant is located in the quaint little downtown area. We were seated quickly and greeted by a friendly waitress (her name escapes me). We ordered the Border Dip as...an appetizer and were not let down. It had a melted cheese blend that was awesome. We both had the coconut shrimp tacos which also pleased as well. I've had a lot of street tacos, but this was the first with coconut shrimp which gave the tacos that slightly sweet taste. It was a great experience with great food ***IMPORTANT*** We were there on a Monday night and while I believe they closed at 9pm....the kitchen itself closed at 8pm. I know they had to turn away several customers because of this. I would HIGHLY recommend checking their website about this.More

We popped in here since it looked like a nice place to have lunch as we were walking through the lovely town. Glad we did. Nice booths with high backs, so private and safe feeling, too. Nice selection, and we appreciated the chips and salsa...on the table. Fresh food, and great service. Fun find!More
