My husband and I had dinner here and were very pleasantly surprised. We absolutely loved everything we ordered, the combination of flavors and ingredients was amazing. My husband is not a foody at all and at one point he said to me: "now I understand what people mean by "food experience"". All of that to say, this place is awesome.... More

Friendly, efficient waitstaff. Excellent food (both days as we went on consecutive days after the perfect first night). Salmon and steaks were tasty and were cooked perfectly. Great finish of a day fly fishing.

This is perhaps the best dining restaurant in Missoula. The ambience is casual, formal with white linen, fresh small, wildflower bouquets, and wait staff dressed in black. It has a fine wine list both by the glass and in bottles. We had french onion soup, a salad, mushroom soup and steak with the flourless chocolate cake and coffee. The French... More

The food quality is superb, the service is excellent. Honestly, we never eat here because I don't like it when there aren't windows. It disappoints my husband to no end, because it's his favorite restaurant. I'm sorry, babe. I just like to be able to see outside.

Loved the exposed brick/high end yet unpretentious atmosphere, and the food was phenomenal. I'm still dreaming about the vegetarian special (and I don't typically choose the vegetarian option)...wild mushroom crepes with an unbelievable sauce.

Good choices and excellent service. We had asked the waitress for a wine suggestion for our meals and she nailed it. Nice atmosphere for a romantic night out.

Pearl Café is Missoula's best restaurant when it comes to high-quality dining. The atmosphere is casual, yet elegant. Service is just right; attentive and professional with pauses to enhance conversation between dinner guests. The bread is to die for and the scallop appetizer is the offering on the menu - worth the visit all on its own. Wine selection is... More

Dinner in Missoula with hubby and another couple. Be aware that most restaurants do not have a liquor license so beer and wine only !! Great menu and atmosphere. There were several specials along with their regular menu. Very good, put probably the most pricey in town. We had the halibut special, steaks and rabbit. Desserts were great also- butterscotch... We were given this location as a recommendation from a business associate while in town on business. It was excellent! The menu was creative, the food was excellent and presented with a lot of pride and lastly the service was outstanding - the true triple threat! My expectations were low considering other dining experiences in MT, but this is the... More

Description
Chef-owned and operated, Pearl Cafe is an aptly named jewel of a restaurant serving regional cuisine with a country French accent. The massive beams and peach toned bricks of the historic warehouse provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. Specialties include bison with huckleberry-zinfandel sauce, duckling with dried cherries and pomegranate sauce and beef tenderloin with port and Roquefort. Fresh fish dishes change daily and local products are used whenever possible. The menu is rounded out with a variety of appetizers, soups and salads, house made bread and a list of sinfully delicious desserts. The restaurant serves wine and beer, with a list of 15 wines by the glass, local draft beer, a broad selection of half bottles and over 100 full bottles.
