My wife and I stopped by to get lunch. We were too hungry so we shared a turkey sandwich, which was good. We also ordered a huckleberry malt ice cream and it was GREAT!

I don't make it to Missoula MT very often but when I do I always stop at Butterfly Herbs for one of their Chai milkshakes. They are the best drink ever. They make them the old fashion way and give you the left over to...add to your cup as you drink it down. The cafe in the back makes delicious food as well and are vegan friendly. So If you are ever in Missoula stop in and give it a try.More

Tea/coffee/herb/candy/soap/candle/jewelry/card/gift shop with a small cafe in the back. Very friendly staff. A little cramped with narrow aisles. Cortado was a little weak but with very good flavor, delicious carrot mini-cupcake with coconut frosting.

I loved this place, the staff was amazing the herbs we're easy to find and super cheap! We bought so many spices, and we bought a few in pound quantity. She had stories, suggestions, and was Soo welcoming. I got a decaf amaricano while she...was weighing things out. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.More

Nice little shop with herbs and spices, coffee and food. You can purchase stuff in bulk and they have cute stuff you can buy.

This was a fun, interesting, and yummy place to shop and visit while in town. Smiles abound as it's a great place to explore for tea selections! If you're not sure about a candy, there's always a taste test available from the friendly staff.

I used to go into Butterfly Herbs when I was at the University of Montana back in 1980 and it is so nice that this delightful little shop is still in business. It has the same eclectic atmosphere, with coffee and tea-related gifts gracing the...front of the small store and a quiet seating area at the back, that it had back then. Lots of wonderful teas line the walls for sale too. They have a small selection of sandwiches and other food items, along with coffee and tea of course.More

Love to visit this place. They have a wide variety of tea and herbs. Staff is very helpful and the place have a great ambiance.

This cafe, which is located in the back of a tea & herb shop, was a nice little find in Missoula. The menu was not extensive, but there were two vegetarian sandwiches and the food was fresh and healthy. We especially enjoyed the quiet atmosphere,...in stark contrast to several other restaurants we considered.More

I like this store for the wide variety of herbs and teas. It also offers a lot of gifts related to both and then some. It has an old fashioned atmosphere with kind of a hippy, eclectic vibe to it. The only issue I had...was when I ordered my tea, I had to ask for their menu. The "menu" was written and laminated on a very small piece of paper that was difficult to read. I think that needs to be re-done and prominently displayed somewhere near the ordering counter. Otherwise, my experience was a pleasant one.More

The shakes and sandwiches are yummy. Coffee was good. They also sell all sorts of teas and dried herbs, candles and salves. Fun to poke around, as service was slow, but I did not mind loafing around their store while waiting....

Met here for coffee on our first visit to Missoula to meet up with my son after two years of his moving here- A great eclectic sort of cafe with students and local folks. Coffee and tea and herbals are great!

I have always had pleasant experiences at Butterfly, and the folks are always nice. Fun to buy teas and herbs there and it is one of the places that is truly Missoula.

Butterfly Herbs has been downtown fir many moons. The present store environment used to be an old drugstore so when you go into Butterfly you feel the vintage nature of time. Butterfly offers fine coffees, teas, herbs, spices and chocolate. The diverse inventory is eclectic...and unique. Stop by soon.More
