We ALWAYS stop at Le Petit Outre on our way through Missoula, wish it was in Salt Lake! Very French bread and pastries and their lattes are excellent too ! Splurge!

Petit Outre has excellent croissants and French bread. Some of the multigrain French breads are very good, too. They have cheese and other meats and drinks in a refrigerated case if you arrive on bikes and want to have a European style lunch.

A short walk from downtown past the hip strip - it is a bakery, small but great bread. We were there on a Sunday morning and the croissants were not fresh (more like day old) and the drip coffee average at best, the latte better. The ham and cheese croissant (refrigerated) was good but there was no microwave on site... More

Excellent baked goods and coffee in an airy and laid-back industrial space. Pet and child friendly (like Missoula).

Wonderful French baquets - the best in Missoula, maybe Montana. Also super pain au chocolat, croissants, scones and many other little tasty treats.

I live in Missoula. We LOVE coffee and micro brews in our wonderful garden city. Within a mile radius from my home, I probably could get a latte from 6 different coffee carts. My favorite is Le Petit. It occupies a corner of a warehouse type building; shares space with Kettle House Brewery and a Subaru repair shop. The lattes... More

We stopped by this bakery and were happily surprised at the large open interior. It was really a cool looking space with nice local art. The baked goods items we purchased were super yummy. We thought this place rocked over Bernice's Bakery on the next street.

Went in to meet a friend, always been a fan of the products they have, even use some of the breads at my restaurant. Waited in line while one staff member struggled to function(I was the 3rd and last person in line) and the other was not going to be interrupted from a conversation with her friend. After waiting with... More

The staff are never overly friendly but Le Petit is the best in town for good strong flavorful coffee and Parisan inspired baked goods.
