This was the first time I've eaten at the Marysville house in about 15 years. The dining room is a small side room off the bar with a handful of tables. The menu is limited to a couple different types of steak, crab legs, seafood skillet, burgers, and lobster (by reservation only). They have upgraded the kitchen and now serve... More

Always fun to have dinner in an old ghost town. Food is OK with a limited menu and drinks are standard bar drinks. it's really all about the setting. A step back into the old west. A beautiful drive up to Marysville makes this a good destination. Seating available on the deck or inside. They also have horseshoe pits in... More

Marysville House is a throw back to an earlier age. The old building has not been renovated and is filled with memorabilia. THe staff are all young kids itching top get out of Montana and head for the bright lights of the big cities. They are all friendly and helpful.. The food isd good but basic. Be prepared for paper... We had a large party and we were treated to a great experience. There is not much to see anymore in Marysville, but it was still worth the trip. Just to drive around the old mining town was a treat. We let our imaginations take us back to the time when the town was roaring with miners and the gold... More

Local colleague insisted we drive from Helena to eat at this time-honored establishment. We ate out on the porch on old, wooden park benches. This place is informal with some local, historic charm, and you are paying for the quality of the food in an out of the way place. Had dinner there with two colleagues and it was pleasant... More

When we arrived at 7pm, we were told we were fourth in line. My husband and I waited over an hour at the bar.....then groups who came in after us were being seated. My husband asked the host when we could be seated and he asked if we would mind sitting with another couple. My husband declined and the host... More

Tried Marysville House for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. We live about 30 minutes away in Helena and it was worth the drive. Bare bones quaint and rustic so don't expect linen table cloths. Other reviews said their only complaint was the styrofoam plates but they must have listened because we were served on typical restaurant plates although... More
