Reservation necessary! The reservation was upheld and ready when we arrived. The employees were very attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant was clean with pleasant surroundings. Ample parking available . Good prices. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. Served in a timely manner. I purchased the charbroiled chicken breast, garlic mashed potatoes and raspberry cheesecake. Enjoyed my meal. I recommend... More

As this is the #1 place and came recommended we went and ordered steaks of course, if you like your steaks overcooked and dripping in butter who am i too complain? The sides were tiny and the service was very friendly but seemed to be trained at dairy queen not a fine dining experience. I would recommend hiring a good... More

Everyone told us this was the place to go, perhaps that's why we were disappointed. The food was just ok. My husband, son-in-law, and I had the pork sandwiches. Daughter had the salmon special. The children's menu is very limited and there's no hamburger on it so we had to pay for an adult meal for a 6 year old.... More

Since we raise & age our own beef, we are extremely picky when it comes to restaurant steaks. The steaks here are fantastic! Don't miss the filet! We ate here 3 nights, & the food was consistently good. But be prepared...this place is always packed. We ate @ the bar twice & had table service our last visit. Service was... More

We travel and eat out a lot. We just experienced the best service at a dinning establishment we have ever had. It was at the level you would expect from a five star restaurant. Our ribs were delicious and the apple cobbler was outstanding! Kudo's to the management and chef.

My family and I visited Livingston and went to the Montana Rib and Chop House for a nice meal and we were disappointed. One of my family members asked the server the catch of the day and she said the salmon was good she didn't know how anything was cooked. So they bring out the salmon and it's nothing but... More

Located in the heart of Southwestern Montana, the Livingston location was the original Chop House that began May 22, 2001. In 2004 we relocated a few blocks down from the original location to an old railroad receiving warehouse just a few feet away from the main line of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad now known as Montana Rail Link. The food is fun, the service is great and you will leave knowing you did't just have dinner, but a dining experience.
