The last time we were in Livingston, which was 10 years ago, we had an exceptional dinner of Prawns at the restaurant. New owners, new restaurant name, and no Prawns this time. The décor was the same as it was 10 years ago, the service was very good, and the food home style. The desserts are still home made and... More

This place is worth a stop even if you are just passing through Montana. The beef pasties are unbelievably good. They serve warm brown gravy on the side to compliment the flaky pastry and chunks of pot roast and potatoes inside. They have two sizes and a large one filled up my husband. We also had the special which was... More

Our multigenerational family at breakfast here and very much enjoyed it. The food and service were excellent. They were very busy on the morning of 4th of July right before the parade, but we were seated and served in a very timely fashion.

This restaurant is in the old train station. Cute interior with usual lunch sandwich and burger selections. Good price...grilled cheese is $3.95. But best part is homemade pies!!! Great selection. Had the apple...spiced just right and crust melts in your mouth. It's a bit off the interstate but nice place to take a break. Staff are very nice too!

Located at one end of the historic Northern Pacific rail depot in Livingston, this restaurant delivers a fun alternative to dreary chain restaurants and trendy "foodie" hangouts. My waitress was excellent in every regard. Cordial, courteous, attentive, helpful. She voluntarily brought me the newspaper to read. She chatted with me about the decor. And when I had to send my... You don't have to be a railroad buff to appreciate the atmosphere of the Northern Pacific Beanery - especially when a train rattles through on tracks only a few feet from the restaurant. This was part of the historical Livingston depot, now mostly a museum, and with all the railroad poster, art, and a working rail yard; it's an unusual... More

I have been to the Beanery a few times, and enjoy eating there because the food is consistently good and reasonably priced. It's located in a great old building. The staff is attentive without being overbearing. It's a great place for a hearty dose of some comfort food. There seemed to be some decent food options for people with dietary... More
