Personal, simple, quick , down home, fresh cooked, tasty food. Local crafts on the walls and smiles on the waitstaff's faces. Good sense of humor and Easy on the pocketbook. What more can I say....leave a good tip.

This is a well hidden restaurant. Open for breakfast ONLY on Saturday & Sunday. Used predominantly by locals. Old. Clean. Nicely priced. I had eggs, corned beef hash & grits. Spouse had eggs, bacon & one pancake. All delicious & cooked as asked. Friendly waitress. Total bill with tip: $18. Enjoyable place!

For the two mornings I spent in Livingston, MT, I thought I had died and gone to heaven, for breakfast. This place is small, always full of happy people enjoying a delightful, delicious breakfast. For every one person who comes out the door, there are two or three waiting to take their place. The tables are small, bur the groups... More

We have driven past this small ma & pa café many times, and finely stopped for breakfast. The food was very good! I ordered the "Heystack" and my wife ordered one biscuit and gravy. After I ordered, a gentleman sitting close by commented "I sure hope you're hungry", referring to the Heystack that I had ordered. I could not finish... More

Seriously! The woman in charge was such a witch! I have no idea if she's the owner but she had a serious attitude! She was nasty to us and the poor girl she was training. It made me uncomfortable how rude she was to this fellow employee. The food was nothing special. Kind of the same thing you can elsewhere... More

We always plan our trips west so we can have breakfast here. Their "Haystack" breakfast is awesome. The servers are all great. Coffee cup is never empty. We can't wait to go back on our next trip west next month.

Another home-cooked meal, gem from Livingston. This is a cafe where you feel that all the customers are local, and know what they like.

It's the breakfast spot where all of the local folks know each other's name and make an extra effort to connect and exchange pleasantries. Servers are personable, attentive and committed to taking good care of all customers. The food is just excellent breakfast fare, with bacon cooked according to your preference. There is plenty of it, with options for smaller... More

I thought I'd have breakfast in downtown Livingston, but there is nothing open in the morning for a hearty, pre-Yellowstone breakfast. I had given up, when I saw this little place on the side of the road. What a great meal! Chicken-fried steak, eggs, hash browns, toast and coffee. The best breakfast of a two week vacation.
