You know when you’re driving all day and exhausted and want to sit down in peace at a restaurant but you’re next to a super annoying and loud table? 😂 That was how our experience here started off.....
BUT, that being said, it was an amazing experience despite this. Our waitress was so friendly, attentive, and helpful with food and beer choices. It is a busier place, and especially if you sit outside, expect it to be loud.
My boyfriend got the seasonal flight which he enjoyed (comes with a small glass of their homemade root beer) and I got the Sip ‘n Go Naked wheat beer.
Our eyes were much bigger than our stomachs after driving all day and we got the chips and guac, the egg rolls, and the Mac and cheese to share. It was A LOT of food and we obviously weren’t able to eat it all. We saved it go and ate it the next day on the road. I highly recommend if you’re stopping on the way to Glacier or elsewhere. Views of Flathead Lake are stunning.

We went during the end of happy hour and there was a little wait ( only 15 minutes) so we grabbed a beer and waited. Once we got our table we tried the spinach artichoke dip because we heard great things about it ( it lives up to its expectations). I had the fish tacos and they were great! Make sure you are hungry because it’s a LOT of food! Our waitress was a little skeptical of my out fo State ID which made our experience a little awkward at times- other than that Highly recommend!

We were on the look-out for a decent meal. The reviews were good so we stopped in to try dinner. It was Thursday night, people were waiting, we put our names in & were told it would be 30 -35 minutes. At 50 minutes we asked where we were on the wait list, we were next!
We got the text that our table was ready!
We ordered the wild Atlantic haddock tacos and the spinach brie salad along with the beer sampler.
Ohmigosh, Delicious!!
Well Worth the Wait!!
Our waitress Shelbey was very attentive but not bothersome.
This is our new Favorite place near Flathead Lake!

I can’t believe it took me so long to come to this place!! My family gave rave reviews but I always thought it wasn’t worth their hype. Boy was I wrong! The fish is so tender and I will inhale the fish and chips all day long if I could. Carefully cared for and crafted by a great Calgarian. I’ve never been a big fan of fish and chips, but I will order this everyday of the week if I could. Also the fish tacos! That’s all I’ve had to eat so far. But I cannot wait to go back! I’ll definitely drive 2 hours to get there. And what a great brewery with an awesome selection of beer and drinks!!!

A step up from typical pub fare. Our party of 3 enjoyed everything from a slab of ribs to a salad with grilled salmon (with huckleberry vinaigrette, of course). The indoor dining seemed noisy but the patio was perfect, with heaters available as it grew chilly. Be patient this year as hiring staff is challenging everywhere in the area.

Tamarack Brewing Company came highly recommended from people who live in the area. We were not disappointed. The brewery does a very good business, as we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Each of us in our party ordered a beer, and we found each beer to be very tasty. We all ordered the same dish: French Dip Sandwich. We all found the sandwiches to be delicious. There was a generous portion of beef in the sandwich, and the baguette tasted warm and fresh. My son and I split a pizza cookie for dessert. I highly recommend it, as the cookie is a half baked chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. It is a large portion. This is definitely a place worth visiting, again and again.

Most of the food we ate here was great, like the chicken strips, fish and chips, and railroad ties. But the mushroom mozzarella pizza was quite the let down! The pizza was quite dry when we have it before and it was great.The service was very efficient.

This place is overrated! We went there tonight and we’re extremely disappointed! Waited an hour to get in and ordered once our server came by. We ordered 3 hamburgers, one brewery bites, and I ordered chicken enchiladas. We then had to wait 45 minutes to get our food. The server came by once to refill our water, one of which had to be returned due to a chipped glass. The server was at times talking to other servers while we were out of water and never let us know how our order is going. When we finally received our order the hamburgers were overcooked, the buns fell apart when eating, and my enchiladas were charred. Plus I received more stale chips then the actual enchiladas, which were smalll. We then had to wait an extended amount of time before the server provided our bill.
This place was terrible and it makes me upset for the amount of money that was spent on poor service and food. The best thing about this place is the beer.
I would never go here again and recommend people avoiding it at all costs.

Have talked with the manager several times over a couple of years and still there are NO vegan or vegetarian dinner options, WTF! If you want to eat healthy or have family that are vegan this is not the place to eat. The beers are good and the carnivore options are ok but nothing healthy otherwise. Too bad, we used to love this place.

We came in with a large group, which we split into several large tables. Staff was very helpful in allowing us to settle in and then right there to take our drink orders. Meal orders were taken in a timely manner, and the meals actually made it out in a surprisingly speed way, considering the number of meals requested. Every dinner looked tremendous, tasted awesome and was fresh and hot. Well done kitchen staff!
Our server, Talls, was pleasant - fun - and efficient, as were all the staff. It's a do over place to eat when we are back in the area.

This is a cool place for families to spend some time. They were easily able to accommodate our large group of nine people, which had 5 kids ranging from 4-9 years. The kids spent most of their time playing in the creek, while we adults enjoyed food and drinks on the expansive deck overlooking the creek. We were happy that the kids were entertained with the creek because it allowed the adults to relax. The decor has a cool industrial yet comfortable feel.
Their kids’ menu had simple child-friendly options (mac & cheese, burger, noodles with butter or marina), which our kids enjoyed. The adults ordered the Big Sky Burger, Huckleberry Salmon, and Chicken Caesar salad, and they were all very tasty. They have a wide selection of beers. We ordered the Flagship Flight, which had samplers of 8 beers. The beers were decent.
Overall, this is a nice brewery with good food. I definitely recommend Tamarack.

Starters were good but main entrees were very disappointing. The bison tacos were so dry it felt like eating cardboard. Pizza was just adequate, the ribs were mostly fat. Drinks were great, service was great.

Busy place on a Monday around 5:30. 20-30 minute wait for a table. We saw quite a few empty tables so we assume they were short on staff. We got adult beverages and sat outside while waiting for a table. Good service for the most part … our server was new so he has a few things to learn. The pizza was delicious as was the Washington State merlot. The Caesar salad was typical - lettuce and dressing with a few slices of some type of crunchy bread. We would definitely return.

This restaurant has a relaxing and fun atmosphere. The rustic yet modern look is very appealing for dining and bar patrons. Our party ordered the French-Dip Sandwiches, Burgers and Garlic-Blue Cheese Crumbled Fries and were very happy with our selections. They were very flavorful and filling. Our server was excellent and the overall staff were friendly and helpful.

We try to time our trips to Whitefish or Glacier NP so that we can stop for lunch or early dinner at Tamarack. Great selection of high quality beers and a nice selection of very appetizing dishes. We usually get fish and chips and/or fish tacos. Always prepared very nicely.
