When you come to Lucca’s you are not eating out – you are dining out. Our unique fine dining experience is designed to tantalize all the senses. You see a relaxed atmosphere of Montana elegance – sophistication without the pomp and circumstance. Come experience Lucca’s, awarded The Best Restaurant in Montana for 2015, 2016 and 2017 by Business Insider magazine. Lucca’s is open at 5 p.m. for dinner Wednesday through Sunday (yes we are open on Sunday). Our intimate 54-seat setting fills up quickly, and reservations are highly recommended – best to call a week ahead. If needed, please leave a voicemail, and we will call you back promptly. Please note, reservation requests via email are not guaranteed until confirmed by our staff.

We were seated at a very nice table and had a view of the walking mall. Our host was a friendly gentleman that had a excellent knowledge of the wine parings. My wife had the Shrimp and Scallops Pasta...and I had the New York (medium).
Our server was very friendly and made some awesome recommendations
I traveled extensively throughout my 38 year career, and the meal we were served at Lucca's was one of the best ever. I highly recommend Lucca's for any occasion.

Helena’s hidden Gem! Traveling through all the way from Alaska, Luccas was the perfect place to stop for an incredible authentic Italian meal. Our experience was exceptional from start to finish. We had a warm greeting from Tina the hostess, setting the perfect tone for the night. Our server demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the cuisine, guiding us through the menu with expertise and gave us many options to accommodate gluten free. The owner, Fred, was very friendly and gave us the perfect wine suggestions for our meal. The seafood was incredibly fresh, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and culinary excellence. This is a must visit in historical Helena!

Lucca’s in Helena Montana was an amazing place for supper while stopping in on our 8 day motorcycle trip. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff was amazing from the Hostess who sat us to the friendly & always smiling Waitress who waited on us. The food was amazing and my wife’s chicken was prepared by chefs who knew how to properly prepare her amazing dish. I would suggest everyone try it out when visiting Helena. Thank you Lucca’s for the great evening.

Bummer
Salmon special. I specified medium rare because fish in Montana is always well done. I even told her this. My dish was very dry and overcooked. She made some excuse for the cook and failed to offer a correctly cooked portion, failed to comp me on my glass of wine. Pricy shoe leather. They want good money but serve bad fish.

Drove 1.5 hours for an Italian dinner that was rated highly. The meal was disappointing. One order of lasagna arrived barely heated through and relatively no sauce. Second order was shrimp Alfredo which had 2-3 times too much white pepper and was barely edible. The shrimp was fine, not over cooked, but the dish was impossible to swallow. The bread and the salad were lovely as was the server. We were comped a dessert, which was very small, but tasty. Our server could not have been more professional or concerned about pleasing us. She was clear with us (because we mentioned that we were from RI) that this was not an authentic Italian restaurant. She was correct. We will not return.

What a great place. Super staff and a great menu. Salad comes with chilled fork and plate. Appetizer’s are seasonal and delicious. Main course is very large but so tasty. Wine list is extensive and adventurous for anywhere. The whole dinning room is perfect and very functional. You will enjoy going here.

Was in town for business, we always make a point to come here when visiting Helena. Consistently wonderful. I love the wine list. They Always have a great wine featured as a special. The only problem is that there are so many choices on the menu. This time I had the scallops and white shrimp. It was fantastic. There were nine of us and everyone had something different. Everyone raved about their choice. Even the bread is noteworthy. The house salad was served family style and was perfect. Great experience every time. Can’t say more. Will be back next time in Helena!

We drove down the hill from our B&B to have dinner at Lucca's. You should book ahead. We went on a Sunday and it was busy. Tables were adequately spaced and well set. Bread and two choices of spreads were brought to the table. Orders were taken promptly. Salads were served on chilled plates which was very nice . The pasta with seafood was delicious especially the broth. This night I managed to save room for dessert, a luscious blueberry Panna cottage. We had no complaints at all about the food. It is worth five stars. It was a not quite friendly, sort of standoffish feeling from the staff that kept perfection at bay.

Make a reservation if you can! We did not and were pleased to find a seat for two overlooking the kitchen. My husband ordered off the menu and the chef was able to accommodate. It was delicious. The lasagna is truly the best. The highlight of the meal was dessert! We had the strawberry shortcake. It was divine! We ate every last morsel!!! Really great find in Helena. Highly recommend!

What an amazing dining experience! We were referred to Lucca’s and wow, it was amazing. Shelly provided exceptional service and recommendations on both our meals and wine selections! The Fisherman’s Spaghetti and Shrimp fra diavolo were over the top! Highly recommend if you are in Helena and looking for great Italian!

We loved it! Starting with a very friendly hostess at the door! Amazingly good food. Great wine (they had a 1/2 price Wednesday special) and fantastic service from Angie. A must do in Helena!

What an amazing dining experience! Tina our waitress was fabulous and recommended the best apps, meals and wines. Her personality and attitude matched the expression of the restaurant. Highly recommend this as place to have an amazing dinner!

Why advertise takeout if it's not available? Have tried to order three weeks in a row and the answer is always NO, we can't do takeout tonight; even when ordered right at 5pm??? Unbelievalble.
