Who knew Havre would be such a difficult place to pass through on a Monday? We stayed one night on a cross-country trip, and were surprised to find almost every restaurant in town is closed on Mondays. You'd think at least one of the pizza joints would see this as a business opportunity! Anyway, we got takeout from PJ's based... More

We stopped after it was recommended by a local. Inexpensive and very tasty. Prime rib special was $14.50 with soup or salad, roll and potato. Rueben was on real rye. Large portions so plan on a go box or split the meal. Salad was typical. Casino on one side restaurant on the other.

Always stop in while traveling on amtrak east and west. Was laid over for 13 hours in July due to freight derailment. It's a great bar/casino with slots and table games. The food is alway great with nice size portions. You can call ahead while on the train and pick it up when you get into town. It's just across... More

This little place settles at the corner of the BNSF Hands across the border statues and big steam engine. The place is ran with personable waitstaff and cooks. It is clean and comfortable. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. It was a pleasurable experience.

This local place was recommended by a local. The first steaks that came out were well done, despite the order for medium rare. When we showed the waitress, she immediately whisked them away and brought the right kind without question. Unfortunately, they weren't particularly good. The other food was just ok, The restaurant was still busy at 9pm on a... More

Walked in the door to the restaurant and a very strange smell hit our noses. Seemed like stale air and grease combined. Checked out the menu before we sat down it it was pretty skimpy. Decided to cut our loses and hi-tailed it out of there.

The exterior had 3 entrance doors, but you couldn't see in at all so we weren't sure whatwe were going into. Old decor but the food and the prices were great.
