Stopped in for an early breakfast, looks like a typical small town cafe. Service was fast, portions were HUGE! I had 2 waffles with strawberries, they came out covering the plate and dressed with whipped cream. Highly recommended!

Went in about 12 I guess. I chose a table close to the counter but it turned out to be noisy. We then went to another table that was a little quieter but the darn busser only knew one way to clear - LOUDLY!!! She slammed dishes into the bin! This would turn into the same person who brought us... More

Coffee Cup Cafe has the most delicious and largest cinnamon rolls I ever ate! These are made homemade each day. We also enjoyed the breakfast omelettes here. Great service and food!

The waitresses are fast, efficient, and overworked or the establishment is under staffed. Soup was definitely from a mix, salad is large, varied and crisp, but the highly touted breaded veal was a sad combination of filler and meat. If we were to go again, which is doubtful, we would all stick to breakfast entrees which seemed to be cooked... More

Breakfast was decent, had an omelette and eggs/ bacon etc. It was very full and they hard a time accommodating us, Waitress was rude. Maybe she was just having a bad day. I'd try it again.

The restaurant that all the locals seem to recommend. Old but clean. Great variety of foods, known for homemade pies and variety.Price is a little above average. Food is fair--they used instant potatoes and canned gravy. Service is great and very good with drink refills. Hometown feel. Would not be a choice for date night or special occasion.

Apparently a seat yourself establishment...took a long time to be acknowledged and given a menu. Waitress had the personality of a 2 by 4, unsmiling, unwelcoming, unwilling to engage, took my order for a Reuben. Reuben barely passable, heavy on grease, fries were among the worst I have ever had! Terrible dining experience. I give it a Poor rating instead... More

My usual breakfast of champions, steak & eggs, and the waitress was happy to substitute fried onions in place of toast. The hash browns came browned as requested - too often a pale imitation barely warmed over. The coffee is acceptable - nothing to write home about. Overall an excellent start to the day!

In searching for a place to eat in Hamilton I chose the Coffee Cup because it appeared to be very busy, an indication to me that it must be good. It does have a menu with a wide variety of choices, offers breakfast all day and has homemade pie. The French dip I had was your average sandwich but the... More

This is a well run establishment, offering great home-style food prepared just right. We ate here a couple of times while in the area and for the type of food they are famous for, they do it as well as anyone. There's adequate parking to which helps if you are travelling with a motorhome like we are - and yes... More
