This pizza is great if you like thin crust, little grease and canned mushrooms. Classic great falls joint

The kraut pizza is fantastic. It's nothing fancy, simple ingredients on thin crust pizza done well. The Canadian bacon and pineapple was nothing special - just a regular Hawaiian. Take out was fast and easy.

I ordered a Howard's Special (sausage, onion and green pepper) at the Stein Haus, a bar next door to Howard's downtown Great Falls location that offers Howard's menu at the bar. I know that people in Great Falls love their Howard's pizza, but I was not impressed. The sauce was bland. The pizza was simply OK.

Ok, I gotta admit, Howard's is definitely a Montana pizza. If you like extremely thin, just get it regular style. The best is double crust. You must order extra cheese too. We just had the kraut special. Tangy sausage, sauerkraut, we added jalapenos, and extra cheese, it was delicious.always get a order of French fries for an appetizer, pizza takes... More

We had a deluxe pizza with the thin crust to take out back to our hotel. It was just bland and greasy. I'm not sure if there was supposed to be tomato sauce on it, but I don't think there was, which just made the pizza taste even more bland. We couldn't eat more than one piece each.

We are from Ohio and really enjoy trying "local establishments" when we vacation. We went to the Great Falls baseball game and saw the sponsorship by Howard's & thought we'd give it a try. We ordered a medium deep dish and a medium thin pepperoni. We were very disappointed. The blandness and lack of flavor was evident in the first... More

First off, we went to the Howards Pizza on 14th Street, but Tripadvisor doesn't recognize that location. I was amazed that a pizza restaurant doesn't sell breadsticks! They cost next to nothing to make, but are good money makers and I love them! We went on Saturday and the poor waitress was over worked so we got some pretty poor... More

I ordered delivery to my hotel, and the pizza arrived much earlier than estimated. It was hot, fresh, and tasted just like I wanted an old school pizza joint pie to taste like. I got a split kraut special and asparagus special pie, and it was delightful. The person taking my order on the phone was cheerful and careful to... More

This place has been here since at least the 60's, when we used to live here. Pizza dough is good, toppings are so-so (they used canned mushrooms, for example.) The restaurant is pretty beat up - I don't think they've updated the decor for decades. We usually get it to go.

We ordered pizza as a takeout after a long day of classes!! Loved the freshness of the ingredients and the homemade crust!! Not greasy or soggy just the right amount of toppings!! Want to go back and try the asparagus pizza!! Defiantly will eat here when we come to Great Falls!!

Thank Berta C
