Food is rustic but very good and atmosphere is rustic and relaxing. Liked that you can go to a non pretentious place that needs no explanation because it's good. It's cowboy / Country good cooking with a few twists. Staff is very nice and easy going, we had a young man tonight that did a very nice job. Had special... More

We were in Gardiner for a week, and needed somewhere to eat dinner. Our 9-year old spotted this place and wanted to try it. The host was very friendly, and got us to our table almost immediately. I was expecting the usual burgers, fries etc, but was pleasantly surprised with the menu choices. I chose the country fried steak, with... More

We went here for lunch and it is probably the best place we ate in town. They have a good menu and their desserts are also home made and very good. Nice décor inside.

Not a fan. Expensive are food was not good. I had a barbecue sandwich and am generally somewhat particular about BBQ after being from Texas. Someone should just do a basic quality check before meal was served. I've tried this before to the same results. Sorry for the negative - just need employees to care.

Good food but pricey. Fair service. Good local beers. It was not crowded but it took a while, still, for food.

In Gardiner for a week, my lodging was just off 89, close to Yellowstone's North entrance. Cowboy Lodge was within walking distance and I liked it so much it was my choice for dinner a second time. Friendly service, great burgers, but what won me over was the Homemade Stew and cole slaw. The cole slaw was quite possibly the... More

We wanted to try some more local fare and decided to try out Cowboys again. Ordered both our steaks medium, they came out well and so dry that we could hardly chew them. No one came back to check on us so we couldn't send them back. We told the waitress when she finally brought our check and she just... More

The restaurant was very nice. Had a real homey feeling to it. The lodge was a one of a kind place. We were in the one titled "The loft" with one other couple and the third couple in our party stayed in a smaller one. Each couple had a bedroom with tv and and their own bathroom. Making the reservations... More

This small restaurant served up some excellent, simple diner fare. The service was fast, efficient and done with a smile. We were a party of four and we were all of the samo opinion. I for one would certainly eat there again.

Thank Nishni
