We stopped in here after my granddaughter's volleyball game. We aren't from this area but my son and his wife had heard good things about it so since the game was in the vicinity we decided it was the perfect time to check it out. For a small town bar and grill they have a diverse menu. Fried green beans,... More

We enjoy driving out to the Edgar Bar because we know the food is consistently good. The service is great, as well.

We had dinner there recently. My husband & I split the prawn dinner (we weren't very hungry but wanted to check it out since it came under new management & because we were passing through anyway). The food was excellent. The prawns were huge, hot and had the just right amount of batter. I also had the soup which was... More

This was our first visit and what a wonderful surprise! We went with family that had been there before and highly recommended it. From the outside you would never guess what fantastic steaks they have. A great selection of steaks and burgers! The appetizers were great also.

We always schedule this stop multiple times when we are in Red Lodge. The 45 minute (1 way) trip is well worth the trip. The breaded/deep fried shrimp are perfectly battered and very tasty. The shrimp are quite large (maybe 4s).The entire dinner is a treat. This is one of the best (tasting) restaurants for miles. Simply, it is a... More

Destination Edgar Bar for best steak in the Billings area. And where else in the world are you going to find the Bacon Skillet as an appetizer. Yep, just bacon. I take all my fancy visitors here for a dose of Montana goodness.

The food was really good, had the walleye and a burger. The walleye was yummy, not heavy and greasy that sometimes happens to battered/fried fish. The fries are great but didn't really care for the tator tots. Service wasn't great but it was kind of busy. Would eat here again when in the area.

Great Jumbo Shrimp, Stuffed Mushrooms and Mushroom Soup at Edgar Bar in Montana. Great recommendation Kathy Duncan Tomich. Shared my secret recipe for a Honey Bourbon drink with the staff, they loved it. Be sure to ask for the "Bear Claw Sangria" !

This is one of our favorite places to eat for either lunch or dinner. It is a fun atmosphere with a nice wine selection and great service. We frequently take our out of town visitors here. On our most recent visit, we had burgers and the huge chicken fried steak, however, our favorites are rib steak, scallops scampi, and the... More

Good local bar, very good food, the steaks are great. The jumbo shrimp is GIGANTIC! I've never had a bad meal at the Edgar Bar. Can be a little spendy, but the food is worth it.
