Destination Edgar Bar for best steak in the Billings area. And where else in the world are you going to find the Bacon Skillet as an appetizer. Yep, just bacon. I take all my fancy visitors here for a dose of Montana goodness.

The food was really good, had the walleye and a burger. The walleye was yummy, not heavy and greasy that sometimes happens to battered/fried fish. The fries are great but didn't really care for the tator tots. Service wasn't great but it was kind of busy. Would eat here again when in the area.

Great Jumbo Shrimp, Stuffed Mushrooms and Mushroom Soup at Edgar Bar in Montana. Great recommendation Kathy Duncan Tomich. Shared my secret recipe for a Honey Bourbon drink with the staff, they loved it. Be sure to ask for the "Bear Claw Sangria" !

This is one of our favorite places to eat for either lunch or dinner. It is a fun atmosphere with a nice wine selection and great service. We frequently take our out of town visitors here. On our most recent visit, we had burgers and the huge chicken fried steak, however, our favorites are rib steak, scallops scampi, and the... More

Good local bar, very good food, the steaks are great. The jumbo shrimp is GIGANTIC! I've never had a bad meal at the Edgar Bar. Can be a little spendy, but the food is worth it.

I didn't expect this! If you are in the area-make time for dinner. We heard that the weekends get very busy. We stopped on a Tuesday evening and the place was relatively quiet. Great, quick service. We had ribeye steaks done to perfection. When they say loaded baked potatoe-they mean it. Highly recommend this little place. Clean, nicely decorated. Spotless... More

On a resent trip to Edgar Bar I had the most troubling experience. The first issue was that I found a hair in my salad. I was dining with family I rarely see and didn't want to disturb our party so I discreetly removed it from my plate and decided to get over it without mention. When my meal arrived... More

Excellent food and service. My husband and I shared a Ribeye steak and scallops. Fresh salad to start your meal with a homemade roll; entrees come with your choice of potatoes and be sure and save room for dessert.

We haven't eaten here for a couple years, now I remember why. Service was ok, but you better make sure you have a reservation if u want a table. They will not accommodate larger walk in groups. I would have been very upset if I traveled from billings or any kind of distance and got there with a sign on... More

I never miss the Edgar Bar when traveling between the Bighorn and Yellowstone Rivers. The most wonderful staff and a lively local crowd awaits after a long day on the river and the Edgar Bar has become part of the ritual. Be sureto grab a big steak and a seat at the long bar.
