Arrived in East Glacier at about 8pm, needing a decent place to eat. I saw a sign advertising this place, and we decided to try it. We drove out and almost missed the sign. We drove up the drive to the ranch, right past a herd of cattle roaming across the drive. We laughed wondering if this is like the... More

The dining room of this restaurant hasn't changed in 50 years. The menu has changed, but quality of the food is excellent. Huckleberries are on the menu. The service was excellent and Keith Schauf, the owner, sat down and took a 50 year trip down memory lane with us. The age of the place says all you need to know... More

Looked good and others at our hotel said they had enjoyed it. The fried chicken was the "go-to" dish according to all we talked to. We were the 1st ones in for the evening rush. the menu stated to order the fried chicken early, as it took a while to prepare. It was hyped as "Grandmas recipe". If it lived... More

We enjoyed a delicious dinner here. Everything was really good, I especially loved the homemade chips that we dipped in queso. It was SO good! I want to come back for the cinnamon fry bread dessert. Our meal was a little pricey for what we got, but being in a remote location at a mom & pop kind of place... More

We had dinner here our first night. Great food with a varied menu. I recommend the Huckleberry Lemonade. We enjoyer petting the horse out front and the unique decor inside.

When we were staying at the Dude ranch the cafe was only open for breakfast, but Aaron and his father sure did not disappoint. Every morning was a different breakfast and just as delicious, or more. as the one before it. I even tried to bring them back to Texas to cook. ;) It was wonderful starting our day with... More

On the recommendation of our motel's owner we drove south of the village to find this delightful surprise. Having just opened for the season the restaurant was surprisingly busy. Built by the Chef's parents the dinning room is small and provides a trip back to the days that the property served as a dude ranch. We ordered the pork chops... More

Can't be more pleased about the Boxies sandwiches from Bison Creek. Everything was delicious, ready on time and packed up so nicely! Highly recommend that you call Aaron and order one of his signature sandwiches to go.

What a surprise, this was the last restaurant open for the season in East Glacier to we went on a hunt and search for it and we are glad we did. It was late so I wanted something light so I ordered a "steak salad". I expected a few slices of meat to accent some lettuce. What I got was... More

We saw this place on our way to East Glacier and asked about it at our motel. They raved so we had to check it out!! The inside is warm and inviting. We all had the fried chicken which was the house specialty. It was incredible!!! The service was excellent and we had a great time. It's BYOB and luckily... More
