I'm not sure if they are always this confused, or if it's because of Covid, but it's not clear at all what to do when you get here. People were just standing outside because they said you couldn't go in to put your name in, but no one came out and let us know what to do. When we finally did get seated, we were told they were out of large pizza shells and they had to go to the store to get frozen medium shells and they didn't know how it would taste. When we were leaving, we heard them tell another table they were out of mediums. This is a pizza place...

On a motorcycle, trying to log in as much saddle and sightseeing time as possible, most of my meals come from a can or ready to eat form, with the hopes of having at least one hot meal a day that has real food. This trip it has been a struggle, and I thank Glacier Grill in Coram for the first decent meal I have had in 3,000 miles. Not only was it decent, it was motivational enough for me to actually right a review. The salad had real mixed greens, with an assortment of other veggies, home made honey mustard dressing (a real treat after several Iceberg only salads, or my own cold canned veggies). The Flathead Philly had actual grilled veggies (the grilled mushrooms were a real treat) with the melt in your mouth roast beef and melted swiss. I don’t think they have any competition in the area, and they didn’t let that stop them from serving great food. A great restaurant in a beautiful town.

My husband and I were staying in nearby Hungry Horse. There weren't a lot of dining options -- many places had closed in light of the pandemic. So we decided to get take out pizza on our first night in town. I phoned in the order and was told it would be about an hour. About thirty minutes later, the restaurant called to let me know the order was ready.
It was a short drive from our motel to the restaurant. There were several customers standing outside waiting for their orders. Because ours was ready, I was able to go to the front of the line and pick up the pizza.
We ordered a large pizza, which was more than we could eat. A medium would have sufficed for two adults. They only have one type of crust. It was thicker than we usually request when ordering pizza, but it wasn't bad. We ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza, which came with chicken, BBQ sauce, cheese, pineapple and bacon. It was a tasty combo, and was still plenty warm when we got it back to the room. I didn't taste a lot of chicken on it. Nevertheless, it hit the spot after a long day of driving.

We ordered pizza to go and was told it would take 60-75 minutes. We showed up at 45 and the pizza was done and sitting on a rack where it was getting cold. Due to not having any way to heat up the food, the timing mishap was frustrating. The pizza was okay, but the salad was great.

My husband and I loved the Glacier Grill so much that we visited twice for dinner!
We had their Floral and Huckleberry BBQ salads, the Supreme Pizza, a pulled pork topped burger and bison burger!
All were great. The burger buns are delish and the right size. The medium pizza was great with the perfect amount of crust to toppings ratio!
Every waitress we encountered was amazingly pleasant even when things were dialed up with to-go orders. Definitely head inside for a great atmosphere and wonderful dishes!!!
It's located within about 6 miles to the West entrance to Glacier National Park. Bar and outside seating are available.

We enjoyed the burgers at this locally owned restaurant. The service was good and the friendly staff gave us great recommendations for our meal choices as well as local places to go for breakfasts. The peach & huckleberry pie with vanilla ice cream was delicious.

We arrived at Glacier Grill & Pizza around 6:30 on a Wednesday night. It was quite busy and there was a wait. We decided to wait and were informed we could wait inside or outside and if we wanted to order a drink to take outside, we could. That sounded good to us so we ordered a couple of beers and headed outside to wait at picnic tables covered by an awning. It was a hot afternoon and we were fine under the cover of the awning. Our draft beers were both to our liking and we struck up a conversation with another couple waiting for their table. Once our buzzer went off, we were quickly seated. You were given a paper to write your order on and then you took it to a window to pay and submit your order. The restaurant was quite busy. While waiting for our food, I noticed the speed at which everything was done. The hostess, manager, bus staff, and servers were always moving fast and were always polite and kind to the patrons. The attention to cleaning a table between guests was pretty remarkable. Everything (salt, pepper, napkin dispenser, table and chairs) were all carefully cleaned with a sanitizer solution. That was something I hadn't noticed in many of my travels and was definitely appreciated. Our food (pizza) was delivered and was piping hot and very good. The crust was thick, toppings were plentiful and was to our liking. It was a nice meal and I wish the owners & staff much success. They are certainly doing it right!

After a very long day of hiking and exploring we stopped on our way back to our vacation rental in Coram. Their was a fairly long wait but we were able to grab a few seats at the bar relatively quickly. Two of us had the fish and chips and one their chicken speciality. All three of us enjoyed our meal and felt it hit the spot. The staff was friendly. It did feel they may be a bit understaffed though as their were many tables outside that weren’t part of the “service” instead - people would get food to go and sit outside. The restaurant could do more business by having additional wait staff to make those waited tables and that would drive even more business to the place as passersby’s would see all the people outside eating.

Options for food near GNP are limited, especially after summer season and during the COVID pandemic. Fortunately we tried the Glacier Grill and got takeout twice during our stay here. We had the Huckleberry Pork sandwiches both times - delicious! The second time we added on huckleberry peach pie and huckleberry ice cream - it was very yummy! The service is very friendly and the order was ready on time.

Every single person that we encountered that worked here was friendly and attentive. The owner was a former teacher and very nice. You could tell she treated her employees well. The food was delicious. I had the chicken strip with fries and they were tender and juicy. The beer battered fries were what fry dreams are made of. My husband’s burger was really good and he especially like the bun it came with. He tried the huckleberry beer and he’d recommend.

We dined here for dinner during stay in Coram. Service staff was cordial. The place had a small town vibe. We shared the Sperry Pizza (veggie) which was filling for the two of us. Taste was, seemed like it could have used some more salt or flavor in general. Still, we enjoyed the pizza which had a more bready crust (good) than the thinner crusts we seem to come across more often these days. Seeing a Huckleberry Cream Ale (from Ponderay Idaho) on the menu (which is not something we find back home), we added this and it was a great accompaniment to our dinner. We also couldn’t resist the huckleberry-peach pie for dessert with a side of vanilla ice cream. All in all, a nice filling dinner after a long day of hiking Avalanche Lake.

Very Pleasantly Surprised!!!
In looking for a restaurant after leaving the park, we found many of the recommendations in Columbia Falls were closing by 8:00, so we decided to go with something closer. I am so glad we did!
I had the Granite Burger which is topped with BBQ Huckleberry Pulled Pork. WOW!!! So good I would consider doing their Huckleberry Pulled Pork in its own on a future visit (yes we will be back).
My wife had the Full Size Camas Creek Salad with the Huckleberry vinegar dressing. Loaded with toppings. We finished out our meal by sharing a piece of Huckleberry Peach Pie alamode. Great local choice. You will not be disappointed.

Ordered a large cheese and mushroom pizza for takeout. It was ready when they said it would be and the price was fair (for Montana). Staff was quick to get my order and get me taken care of. However, pizza was bland. No real tomato or cheese taste at all. I’ve had frozen pizzas with more flavor. Seemed like a nice place but wasn’t impressed with this order.

We ate here twice during our trip to Glacier. Super friendly staff. Greeted both times by the owner. Very knowledgable of the park and told us about multiple hikes and things to do. She was spot on with everything we tried. Just a very friendly local place with good Montana cooking. Everything Huckleberry was outstanding!
