Called into this rustic cabin on our coach trip. The setting is very basic as you would expect up here. A good selection on the menus. All food freshly prepared for you you can choose between a 6" or 12" sub. They do burgers as well. Also meal of the day. Plus beer. great little set up staff friendly.

Cooke City MT is as far as you can drive out Yellowstone National Park northeast entrance in early May and it is where we had lunch at Buns and Beds restaurant. It is a family run place with really friendly owners, fast and made-to-order food. Everything we had was delicious! BBQ sandwiches and hamburgers grilled right outside the front door.

We had gone into the restaurant across the street where we usually stop when in town, but they appeared to be really slow at serving today. So we decided to try Buns and Beds. They had a special for barbecue sandwich, baked beans and potato salad for $8.95, which we all ordered. Very tasty, but we found the servings to... More

Was in Cooke City with a tour group. We ate here for two meals. Was very pleased with all. I especially appreciated the fact that there was things on the menu that I could choose from since I don't eat red meat or seafood. It's a small town....try this restaurant.

Owner was very friendly. We stopped in the off season, so he was only serving the daily special, bbq brisket sandwiches. It was great!!

Jan and Leo do a wonderful job of providing delicious sandwiches with Leo's bar-b-q. Feel like we are coming home when we go there. Warm hospitality!

Buns and Beds is a sandwich/burger place. The food is good and the conversation also good. It is very rustic, in keeping with the location. If you want fancy this isn't the place. But if you want a good sandwich stop in. No fires though.

Stopped for lunch on our way to Yellowstone. The server was not very friendly, then got our order wrong (we requested no horseradish on our sandwiches). We ordered coffee with our sandwiches - we each got one cup of lukewarm liquid - no refills. One to avoid.
