This is the kind of place where you share tables with complete strangers - and it is all the better for that. Live sports were being shown on the TV screens (not all the same), and the atmosphere was lively (loud). The pizzas are large and well made (The Redneck is extremely good), and they can cater for Gluten Free,... More

On our annual cross country motorcycle ride we pulled into Cooke City. We picked the Miners Saloon for a lunch break. The decor was interesting and if you like history, look around a bit. The burgers were very good. We would eat here again... Travel safe...

Eclectic, fun, great food, nice people (both local and visiting). I look forward to stopping at Miners Saloon every time I go through Cooke City. Chef Raz Schneider is the heart and soul of this operation. I have to show restraint when I stop at Miners. Last week, I ordered my standby: Raz's brisket sliders which are absolutely knee-buckling. Fresh... More

We on a escorted bus tour and this was a short stop but we were hungry and thirsty. My wife noticed a Grateful Dead banner and music being played out of the bar with a lot of motorcycles outside. We are not the squeamish types so we went in with no hesitation. There was a group of mixed genders talking... More

Excellent recommendation from our motel. The town sort of has you due to its location real close to Yellowstone and there not being many other towns nearby. Our Motel clerk mentioned that many of the eating establishments really charge higher prices but you aren't necessarily getting a good deal. This Saloon was recommended as being good food for a fair... More

This place is solid! We were looking for a place with burgers and beers for a family of 5. We ordered burgers, a sandwich and a pizza. Each item had a myriad of flavors! The pizza was wonderful and leftovers made a great lunch the next day. Big pluses: cool owner, good staff, great beer, great jukebox, good video games,... More

We enjoyed sitting at the bar on July 4th. The bartender was friendly and provided great service. We stopped just for drinks but had to give the food a try after seeing the food coming out of the kitchen. The brussel sprouts were the best I've had! Call Guy Fieri cause this place needs to be on TV!!

While on a lengthy motorcycle trip, a friend and I stayed the night in Cooke City, MT. I asked our motel staff lady where we might get a good pizza and she recommended the Miners Saloon without hesitation. She was spot on, great pizza with fresh ingredients along with a cold beer. A bonus was the saloon itself, a lot... More

This is a real gem in the center of Cooke City. The bar is well stocked and well manned with experienced bartender. We love their home made pizza, it is a thin crust with fresh toppings, best you can find for hundreds of miles. Sunday night they have grill specials which are top quality as well.
