Good food, reasonable prices, nice decoration. Special remarks for the dessert pies. The service was fast.

We just had drinks at this place. There menu looked like a good variety with reasonable prices but we chose to eat elsewhere. We did have drinks here and had great service
The food was great. Service was good. It was a Saturday in July and the town was fill even though you can't get to YNP from here through the NE Entrance. They were busy and some things were low on supply, be patient it is...a remote location. Be kind and enjoy the visit.More
We are from Billings, MT. We were there a few days ago with out of state company for lunch. My husband forgot his credit card. Because of flood damage the main road is closed and mail service is debatable. We called when we got back...home that evening and they hand delivered the card to our house 2 days later. THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! THANKS SO MUCH, THE BISTRO!! By the way all you tourists, you can get to Cooke City the back way - Chief Joseph scenic highway right north of Cody - the main highway is closed, but you can get a taste of the Beartooth Pass going up that way!!More
Super Expensive for very terrible food. Sat down and handed a bunch of greasy menus. Half the things on the menu they were out of. Overall bad choice to eat at
I know people are worn out, but this place is over the top on the rude scale. Would never go back. Probably only stay in business as so few options.
We stopped in here after trying to travel the Beartooth Highway. This seemed to be the only restaurant that was open in Cooke City, so in we went. The building itself seemed a little dated and in need of some updating but it was suitable....The burgers were great and flavorful. The service staff was friendly and efficient and the food came out fast. I would stop in here again.More
Stopped for dessert after harrowing drive on Beartooth Highway. Did not notice neon CLOSED sign. Greeted with admonition about not reading sign. Allowed to order takeout dessert. Got cheesecake with huckleberry sauce. Large slice and tasty. Owner mentioned shortage of workers and impact on hours....Understandably difficult situation for this owner and every other business owner in Cooke City.More
Got the chicken noodle soup. that had been watered down. I do not think that I even got chicken in the soup. It was horrible and I paid way too much for a awful soup.
The Bistro closed @ 4pm & said the were “on strike”. Few places here are open & what is open can’t get workers. Stay in Yellowstone….worth the extra $$$.
Tried lamb chops for 1st time. Excellent food and customer care. Friends had steaks. Hats off to the chef and to our waitress. She was very busy because another waitress did show for work. BUT, she did an excellent job.
Best burger I’ve had in a while. Had a smoky taste, could tell it was super fresh. French fries and service were A+. This appeared to be the only restaurant open every time we passed through Cooke City, highly recommend.
We had breakfast and lunch here. The food is just great, all freshly prepared and delicious. They have a fantastic creme brûlée and chocolate mousse for dessert!
So bad we knew right away we would regret it forever. We were seated in a back room with what seemed like buckling floors by a snooty weasle looking hipster and handed some greasy menus. With what should have been a very inexpensive meal for...the general "atmosphere" of the place, a seventeen dollar salad on the menu convinced us to walk out without ordering. Glad we did because I refuse to feel like I'm being taken advantage of by uppity california boys with cheesy backroom tattoos and vampire resistant breath.More
This place has changed over the years. Didn’t used to be very good but now it has an outstanding menu. We had a wonderful meal here one night of our stay in Cooke City. The Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, lamb chops and the Fettuccine Bistro...were all winners. Our hat is off to the chef. Please keep your quality up, we’ll be back next year. Breakfast was also very good there at The Bistro.More
