Always great food and an expansive beer list. Happy Hour appetizers are always unique and very tasty. This restaurant exemplifies Bozeman as a hip progressive mountain town with tastes not usually found in towns this size. Music can be a tad loud for conversation but they'll turn it down on request.

We had a great meal at this restaurant/bar in Bozeman. It's pretty upscale for Montana, and had great food, good service from nice staff, and it's in a cool setting (an old railroad freight house station!) Highly recommend it. The only complaint is that it can get noisy. Fun spot.

I was there just one night for work and the hotel recommended this restaurant. We had a blast walking around beautiful downtown during a snowfall. The warm mulled spiced wine hit the spot as well as the delicious gourmet burgers and parmesan fries. We finished with a warm apple crisp topped w/vanilla ice-cream, loved the crisp topping!! Great service too!... More

A night out with the girls for a birthday celebration. Ale Works delivered the fun and food with their typical flair. Several of us tried the salmon special which was perfection served with butternut risotto. Our favorite desserts, creme brûlée and the flourless chocolate cake were a delight. Always a winner!

We had an excellent dining service at Montana Ale Works. The staff is professional, prompt and provides good information for pairing the food with the beer. The beer selection is top notch, probably the best in Montana. Try the Ole Gus Scotch Rye, I paired it with the duck and it was excellent. The carne tacos off the bites menu... More

Owner Pete Hendrickson knows the restaurant business! Taking an historic railroad depot and transforming it into the best place in town to dine is no small accomplishment. His waiting staff exude energy, courtesy, and know local cuisine and microbrews. You'll love the dining experiences Pete and Crew can create for you!

We stopped on a whim as we were passing through Bozeman. What a gem! The atmosphere...amazing. Service was very friendly and helpful. The food was sublime and the wine and craft beer pairings were so tasty! Best fish tacos I've ever had hands down. Seriously have not stopped talking about this place since our stop in 2013. Can't wait to... More

What's terrific place to hang out with friends. Great pub and eating place for the college crowd. It can get loud but the place is always jumping. Cool atmosphere.

If the number of customers is any indication of a restaurant, then Ale Works is easily one of the best and most popular places in Bozeman.
