I have eaten here over 100 times and it never disappoints Enjoy the ambiance here and the food has been consistently excellent. My favorites are the fish tacos, the enchiladas, and the fish and chips. The selection of local beers is great.

My husband and I were in Bozeman for a wedding and this was our first time there. When looking for a place for dinner the first night we saw many restaurants were located on a main street with beautiful hanging baskets of flowers. The reviews...for Montana Ale Works were good so we went without having reservations. They took our names and we got a couple of beers to wait with in the comfortable bar area. It did not take long to get seated. The restaurant is large and open with a fun atmosphere. Portions are large so we shared an appetizer and each ordered something different. I chose the bacon wrapped meatloaf (Montana Meatloaf) which was awesome. (August, 2019)More

My family and I had dinner here while vacationing in Bozeman. They have a wide variety of beer and food. It was a limited menu due to Covid 19, but still a great many options to choose from. The service was great also. Montana Meatloaf...is a must try.More

What a fun venue - beautifully renovated freight warehouse with great atmosphere and great food. They were out of the special - halibut cakes so we shared the fish and chips, really some of the best I’ve tasted, and the meatloaf - also very good...and local drafts. Our server was friendly and the service efficient. It will definitely be a future stop.More

The Sunday special of Alabama bbq chicken is worth the visit. The white BBQ sauce is the bomb! I had the Montana meatloaf which was delicious too. Nice selection of local beer but they offer no samples which was a bummer. Overall nice place and...friendly service by wait staff and bartender.More

We traveled to Montana in August and decided not to eat in when we first arrived, The staff at our hotel recommended Montana Alex Works. We ordered online and were very happy with our food. The pickup was super organized during covid times. A server...came out to your car and brought you the food and asked if you needed napkins, flatware, etc. She wore a mask and they had white the set up for those pick up orders. Great job, great food!More

Glad we found this restaurant. We tried 3 types of local IPAs and porters. Bill enjoyed Beef Stroganoff and I had a 1/2 BBQ chicken. Our server Crystal (hope I spelled it correctly) always had a smile. Highly recommend this place right in downtown.

We enjoyed a lovely evening, sitting on Montana Aleworks charming patio, in downtown Bozeman. The service was excellent. The beer list was extensive. The food was delicious. My husband's fish and chips was outstanding. The fish, 3 large filets of wild caught cod in a...delicious batter, were served with the very best beer batter fries. Together, they were the best fish and chips he has ever eaten. My husband orders fish and chips frequently, so that is saying a lot. Montana Aleworks was awarded the "Best Restaurant in Bozeman," and we could see why.More

Ale works is a fantastic space for a bar/restaurant, their fits many tastes, and the service was adequate. Walking in was a bit confusing after parking on the highway out front, but it all worked out. The impressive layout provides many areas, even an expanded...outside courtyard. The meatloaf was scrumptious, as were the fish tacos according to my wife.More

The salad I had was all gluten-free ingredients. They also seemed like the sort of establishment that would be happy to meet those needs if you requested it.
