Great steaks and great bourbon. What more could you ask for? The Ribeye steak was excellent and prepared to perfection. Sides of asparagus and fries were equally tasty. I just may have found my new favorite restaurant in Bozeman!

$43 rib eye steak, $34 pork chop? Yep. Because (drum roll) it's in Bozeman, MT. But you won't be disappointed. You folks who want to know what local Montanans eat? Beef and potatoes, that's what. God's gift to mankind. And this beef is melt in...your mouth good. So are those potatoes, spelled with or without the "e" on the end. I had the fisherman's delight: a trout broiled over an alder wood fire with some rosemary branches thrown in. What flavor! You won't be disappointed.More

We had ribeye, trout and filet. They were some of the finest foods we've had in Bozeman. The atmosphere was great and the service was very good. I plan to return on my next trip to the area and strongly recommend this restaurant.

TA has this as #24 in Bozeman. That is way off. There can't be 23 places doing it better. We brought our son and 2 friends to visit MSU....not Michigan State!!! We were joined by a student at MSU for a party of 6. That...is their max table size due to pandemic regs. Pork rhinds with red pepper sauce....tasty snack!!! Steaks come in various sizes....our table had several 33oz big ones!!! I had a 27 oz. T-Bone...a steak that you don't find on many menus anymore. They had a bone-in NY steak that a few of our party loved. Side dishes were good....too many to single out. The cocktail list is solid....wine list has good variety but not much age. We recommend Open Range.More

Service at the bar was good. The bartender was friendly, but not intrusive. Nice selection of wines by the glass. We got there during Happy Hour and ordered two of the $3 Street Tacos from their special menu. The tacos were very good, and an...exceptional value.More

The atmosphere is inviting. We had a delicious dinner. For the price it is not the best value in Bozeman but we were expecting high prices at this establishment. Service was slow taking 2 1/2 hours for dinner and dessert but we were there with...great friends so no complaints about extra time to visit. Watch the extra items you order, it all adds up really fast. For us this would be a very special event outing.More

Although the food and ambiance were good, our time at Open Range was so disappointing. Our waiter was unfriendly, bordering on rude. Having eaten at Open Range before we knew the food could be pricey, but charging $21 for a Manhatten cocktail was ridiculous. Lastly,...when we asked our server if there was a cupcake or something to celebrate our guest’s birthday the waiter said simply “no”. A few minutes later woman at a table near us was served a dessert with a candle on it - so bizarre! We will not be back.More

we went for my birthday, and had made a reservation for an upfront table. we were seated in the back, where there was a crowd of people. despite feeling uncomfortable, the food was amazing, although our waiter seemed a bit flustered. i'd return, but not...seated in main dining room.More

We had family in town to celebrate my husband's 40th. EVERYTHING was great- we all ordered differerent dishes and everyone said the food was perfect! Our server had a great sense of humor and personality and service was impeccible. We will be back!

Ope range is the best of the Main Street offerings. Great menu, craft cocktails, excellent service and mindful management. Skip the chain at the other end of Main Street if you want a great steak and even better Experience.

I was told they would be happy to accept payment for a certificate and mail it to the recipient. Phone: 406-404-1940 Their website is not allowed to be posted here but a search for Open Range Bozeman will get you there.
