In 1999, The GranTree Restaurant was revised and remodeled to give it a more casual Montana feel. In 2008, the name changed and remodeled again with more of an upscale sport’s bar style, creating what is known today as The Club Tavern and Grill, Bozeman’s top-rated upscale sports bar with 12 TVs, a casino, full Bar and sports packages and more.

It’s good, but their menu is rather limited; I’d read here on TA how great it is, & since we’ve lived here a year & haven’t been, we decided to give them a try for dinner.
We noted that “onion rings” are mentioned here on TA, but they aren’t on the menu! We asked Hillary, our server, & were able to order them, & the onion rings are great!
We also ordered the bison wontons, & they were disappointing. Bison is very healthy for you, & the combination of ingredients for the bison filling sounded great, but it was bland, with no seasonings to bring out the combination of flavors.
The sauce which came with them (six wontons for $11.00) was somewhat spicy, & completely overwhelmed the cheesy bison filling—not a good flavor match at all, & the thick, dark red sauce seemed to be...pre-prepared.
My salad was fantastic: Chicken, walnuts, cranberries, feta cheese, Granny Smith apple slices, etc. Great choice with champagne vinaigrette & I asked for a side of huckleberry vinaigrette, so it was perfect!
David ordered fajitas, & all the toppings were very good, including adding a side of guacamole ($2 extra for a very small portion), but the refried beans tasted “off”—& it’s just a choice they made when buying them: The refried beans taste like the “vegetarian” variety, which has been the ruin of many a homemade “7-layer taco dip”...
Happy Hour runs from 3 to 7 (weekdays; didn’t check for weekend, if any, on their website) & has a good variety of draft beers, wine, & well drinks—but doesn’t include any discounts for the specialty cocktails.

We stayed at the hotel next door and ordered take out as the wait was 90+ minutes at 6:30 PM. Seems to be a very popular place. Our take out order of calamari, BBQ ribs, tuna steak, and Cheese cake was ready in under 20 minutes. We were not fans of the cheesecake but the other dishes were delicious with good sized portions. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely go back again.

We had breakfast and dinner here, I looked at everyone's food as it went by it all looked awesome and nice amount. I have the eggs Benedict it was very good real ham eggs done great and the holiday sauce was very tasty just wish the muffin was toasted a bit/more and I didnt like the hash browns they umm seemed lack lustered like they were watered down they needed a little something, cooked in bacon fat? Butter? I did salt and pepper it but no help.. it was ok since I was full any ways.
DINNER: we ordered room service wich was very nice we didnt feel like going any where it even out of the room with our dogs, I has the lasagna and soup and glass of milk and glass of wine and dessert and husband had a burger. I dont eat much lasagna it is always disappointing but I got it hoping for them best.. I will say I was pleasantly surprised it was very flavorful the sauge had a little kick, I was only wishing there was a tad bit more red sauce on the bottom of the dish. Either way I would order it again and the he soup was very good also I for the name of the soup. The staff was very good on taking our order and delivering it to us. Both wait staff was very good and cheery, would recommend

We haven’t visited in a Sunday in awhile but this trip was disappointing. We were 10 mins too late (12:10pm) for Sunday breakfast and yet there were several appetizers that we couldn’t get such as shrimp cocktail and the smoked salmon appetizer. Neither of these are extremely time intensive... so I’m not sure what the problem is... maybe just having some fun with restrictions without thinking them through as far as why? Some appetizers were available such as nachos and quesadilla. The service was what we would expect which is attentive.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our server was very attentiveand friendly. We both had a "rotator" sour beer, which was very refreshing and tasty. We shared the special of a slab of baby back ribs, slaw and jalapeño mashed potatoes with a side salad. I decided to try the huckleberry vinaigrette as my dressing and it was delicious. The ribs just fell of the bone and could be eaten with a fork. They had a great smoky flavor and the barbecue sauce was sweet with a little kick. I ate the cole slaw, which my husband won't touch, and he ate the mashed potatoes. Both were excellent. I definitely recommend eating here.

Seated and served quickly by friendly staff. Garden salad was cold and crisp and the thousand island dressing was possibly the I've ever had. Chicken Fried steak was so tender I could cut it with my fork. Gravy was creamy and generous, but a bit bland for my taste. Garlic mashers though were excellent and had a nice spicy zing to them. Seasonal vegetable medley of zucchini, red peppers, and onions was OK, but none are my favorite and would have preferred a standard vegetable like green beans or carrots. Overall, very good. Only thing that would have improved the meal would have been a dinner roll with butter.

First off my family and I got sat right away. The service was awesome and on point. The food was good as always. My husband ordered the 1/2 nachos (go starving when you order these) I ordered the Beef dip with a side caesar salad. I've been looking for a good one since we've moved here three years ago and finally found it! Two of my kids had the hamburger with fries and trust me they are huge even for being off the kids menu. You could probably spit it between two kids. The fries that came with it were really good. My other kid got a corn dog and said it was the best one she's had. That came along with a side of fruit that was really fresh. The drinks were good and consistent. The manager even stopped by the table to check if everything was good. I wish I remembered our servers name. She was so nice and attentive. I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is great too.

Stopped in to have a drink and kill time. Place was packed! Sat at the bar and had a few drinks very well made. Bartender was great, super friendly and funny. Lots of locals sharing stories and having a good time with him. We got a side of biscuits and gravy made just as the bartender said he likes it- cut in half with the biscuit grilled and gravy on top and DAAAAYYUUUIMMMM that made my southern heart happy! Most places ruin it with too much flour or yuck sausage.. this place nailed it! Made me wish I got a bigger order and didn’t have to share. All the food that came out around us looked delicious. Go get some, you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy.

The patio is dog friendly, that’s why we chose this place. I was surprised more places in Bozeman that had patios were not. Ordered 1/2 plate of nachos, they were huge. The place was busy even at 1:30 in the afternoon, a lot of locals were eating here so you knew it had to be good. I would definitely eat here again.

Found this place on my Bring Fido app. Very nice dog-friendly outdoor seating. Water bowls were already on the patio when we arrived. The well-maintained patio had overhead covering for shading and beautiful plants. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer atmosphere.
The food was wonderful. Our party ordered the Reuben, soup and make your own sandwich, the jalapeño burger, and the fried chicken sandwich. Also had kettle chips, side salad, and sweet potato fries. We liked all of it!
The service was fantastic. Our friendly waiter Jonathan got all of our requests right the first time and didn’t miss a beat. It’s hard to find good service and good food these days, but this place did not disappoint!

My favorite place in Bozeman to take in a sporting event. There is a wide variety of food choices with hearty servings. Come early for big time sporting events as it is very popular and a good selection of draft beer.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The drinks were a good healthy pour. The server knew I couldn't eat a regular size steak salad, so she put in for the 1/2 salad, which was huge in itself! (And delicious with the horseradish dressing!) It was crowded, but I didn't wait long for my order. There are plenty of TVs if you are into watching sports, and although it was crowded, the noise level was not obnoxious. I will definitely come back the next time I am in Bozeman!

We are visiting the Gallatin Valley area and read great things about this place. It did NOT disappoint 👍. Restaurant was busy with MNF on all the TVs. Hubby and son-in-law shared the half order of loaded nachos which was huge! Our daughter enjoyed the chicken tenders and shared a beautiful yummy apple walnut salad with her hubby. I had the best bacon cheeseburger and fries I’ve had in a long time! Our server Lisa was awesome! The kids headed home after dinner while hubby and I ducked into the cute little adjacent casino to “make our donation to the local economy “ 😊. Kayla was our fun and excellent server there and we had SO much fun! Even though the Broncos didn’t win, we did and left with a few more dollars than we started with 👍👏. We’ll definitely be back before we leave later this month👍

We were in a hurry to get to a wedding at Chico Hot Springs. Even though they were slammed, they were able to get us a table, a beer and an amazing sandwich in under an hour. The club was crispy, fresh and the avocado a perfect fit. My husband had the crispy chicken sando and he loved the horseradish sauce. We tried to come back for brunch Sunday but they were even more slammed! We would definitely return.

After spending a week in Bozeman at Best Western Plus GranTree, we ate here throughout the week. The staff was friendly and made good recommendations on food. The meals were hearty and tasty. We really liked the breakfast sandwiches which we were easy to take to go. It was nice after a day of exploring to come back to the restaurant for a meal and a drink while watching a game. The locals definitely frequent this place, so it tells you that they are doing something right! Very reliable and enjoyable.
