We live in the area. Have been to Nova several times. Had a gift certificate to use, so went there this past weekend for lunch. Found out that they don't serve lunch on the weekend, ok we order breakfast. Now, they advertise that they serve...fresh, locally sourced foods. Husband ordered ham and eggs with potatoes. Ham was thin sliced like sandwich meat. Eggs were definitely NOT organic or local (I buy local organic eggs, you can tell.). I ordered bacon instead of ham. We also buy locally sourced bacon, what they served was not. Food was served, we did not have silverware. Got that plus hot sauce. No salt, pepper or any jelly for our toast. Just confirmed that we will not be back.More

Delicious breakfast with a variety of options for all diets (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, GF, or none of the above). Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Order the Fordidden Breakfast Bowl for a hearty, savory meal. My daughter loved her Chia waffle. Nice selection and eclectic restaurant with retro chairs and booths.

Don't let the wait dissuade you from putting your name in; it's worth it. The food specials vary based on local ingredients available, and the consistency of quality is certainly there.

I honestly don’t understand why this place is so often recommended or why it gets good reviews. Maybe because it’s slightly less expensive than other places in town? But there’s nothing great about it except perhaps the service, which was excellent. The food wasn’t great,...though. The best I can say about it is that it was edible. There are so many great breakfast and lunch places in Bozeman. Don’t waste your time and money on this one.More

Excellent breakfast and service. Tried the pancakes this time and was not disappointed. Also had a fruit cup with a good variety of fresh tasty fruit. Strawberries were exquisite.

The Nova Cafe is just that - a cafe. We came for breakfast, sat at the multi-colored chairs on a tiny table, and watched others drinking coffee and eating toast and other basic breakfast items. The young waitress came to offer coffee and take our...order, and this was every other diner/cafe in America. We ordered Huevos Rancheros ($11.75), French Toast ($8.50), Western Omelette ($11.25), and Blue Cornmeal Cakes ($7.00). A couple of side orders of fruit, bacon, and an extra fried egg completed the meal. We ate everything and it was as expected. Service was quick and we were on our way.More

We have gone to NOVA every year for breakfast when we go skiing. This time however it disappointed to the point of no return. The restaurant was half empty and they were admittedly short staffed. However, we still had not received even one food item...over an hour after arrival. This despite being told repeatedly that our food was only '10 minutes' away. Unless you have a long time to commit to breakfast and don't mind asking for your food several times I can not recommend. Go to Jam down the street - fast service with super friendly staff!!More

There is no alcohol served at Nova Cafe. With the strict and expensive beer and wine licensing in town, it is a no go. You may try one of the bars or evening places that offers brunch such as Copper, Starkys or Red Chair.
