Every time I have been to Dos Machos, the food has been good, the service excellent. My wife and I love this place. I have yet to order an appetizer or desert because the entrees have such generous portions. The Enchilada Dinner has yet to...More

I stay at the Hilton across the street and eat here at least one night when in town. This place is a solid American-Mexican restaurant. This is not the place to get an "Authentic" street taco but they do a good job on all of...More

Friend;y staff and wonderful menu. The bar is great. The first time we were there, they had a wandering group of musicians. Great. Is definately kid friendly, also.

We hadn't been to Dos Macho in years so decided to try it again against better judgement. Got seated right when we got in and then never saw a server for 20 minutes. Finally just got up and left.

Ok, we have lived several places around the country and have had excellent Mexican food in different locales. It has been a struggle to find decent Mexican in Billings. We decided to check out Dos Machos and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was nicely decorated,...More

Here is what annoys me about some of these reviews: glowing comments on the parking, the service, the ambience, and other aspects, but giving the place only one or two points. Admittedly, if you don’t like the food, that’s a large drawback, but I’ve never...More

I'm from out of the area, but this certainly came off as a chain-style place like Applebees or such. I wanted a nice Mexican meal, and what I got was okay, I suppose. I ordered the chicken Baja burrito, which arrived with three 1/8" chunks...More

It's truly disappointing to read this review. We take customer feedback to heart, and we're always using it to improve our restaurant, so it's a shame to see you'd think otherwise. That said, I appreciate your comments on the Chicken Baja Burrito -- I'll be...More

Place is clean well decorated, lots of parking, Was seated immediately, service was very good, but the food was not at all Mexican. My tacos were just chunks of chicken with salsa on it. No spices, the rice and beans could have came out of...More

Karan, while I'm happy to read you enjoyed our ambiance, I'm disappointed to see you weren't wowed by your tacos. We make everything fresh, in-house daily, so I'm not sure what exactly happened here, but it's possible our twist on Mexican favorites is just a...More

Went in and sat at the bar for a quick lunch and a margarita. Extra large margaritas for a great price. The bartender, Kirsten, was genuinely friendly. I have been here a few times before and have never had a bad experience.

An authentic Mexican meal is an assault on the senses. First, there is the sound of sizzling meat on hot plates. Then comes the aroma, slowly at first, and then in full force when the plate is in front of you. The contrasting colors of green, yellow and red peppers, meats, spices and salsas are a feast for the eyes. Our tortillas are soft to the touch. But most memorable, varied, and sought after is the taste. Whether it's the bite of juicy steak fajitas coupled with the cooling effects of our guacamole and sour cream, a refreshing sip of our famous margaritas or the crisp, perfectly salted bite of tortilla chips dipped in our fresh made salsa, we know that you won't be able to stop at one taste. Stop holding back, and come taste authentic Mexico!
