My first visit, but my wife has been there before. We had invited another couple who have also been there. The menu changes depending on the season. We started by asking for some bread and ordered the "Moroccan Carrot Matbucha" for an appetizer which was good but could have had a few more chips with it. We only had two... More

Our first dining experience at Lilac will not be our last. The tight, eclectic menu surprised and delighted us at every turn. Who would have thought that crispy chicken skins could taste so good? Every course was a winner and the farro fried rice with pork belly was outstanding. We learnt that members of Lilac's team rotate through the various... More

Excellent place to have a Sunday brunch! Different menu to choose from. We enjoyed excellent service and an excellent meal with smoked trout scrambled eggs and poached eggs with a delicious locally made sausage.

In my opinion there is no better place to dine in Billings. Authentic, creative and just plain tasty.

Wonderful chef owned & run restaurant . This would do well in any major city. After traveling over two weeks we were delighted to just walk in for a great unique meal.

The food was outstanding, both for flavor and presentation. Both dishes that we had used unusual sauces and spices, making for a delicious meal. We shared the butter lettuce salad which was also very good. We hope to be back in Billings soon and will certainly go back to the same place! Other things on the menu also looked good.... More

This restaurant is known for their seasonal selections although there are some items that remain on the menu. We started with the house French Fries. I know it doesn't sound like a great appetizer but these fries were excellent. I had the beef tongue tacos and my wife had the braised short ribs with gnocchi. Both of these items were... More

I was skeptical of Lilac at first because of the 'small, medium, large' plate set up. I never know what to order. But, I am so glad we ate here. Everything was delicious. We ended up sharing a bunch of different plates, and each one was better than the one before. The brussel sprouts and chicken skins were the table... More

Had Sunday brunch today and really enjoyed it. We made a reservation but I don't think we needed to. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Wait staff quick and attentive. Try the chocolate croissant and the trout scramble! Mimosas were tasty as well! Be mindful of the hours, they close at 1pm!
