This is a typical farm to table type restaurant. Interesting combinations of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Saturday night and only three tables occupied should have provided all the information necessary to go somewhere else. The special was a "sirloin" steak. Ordered it medium-rare. Arrived cooked to death. Sent it back. The next one was, indeed somewhat pink, but it was no...More

My grandson and I had a great lunch. Started with best Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had. A light crisp to them. I had the meatloaf sandwich. It was also excellent with a light Huckleberry bar-b-que sauce and Gorgonzola slaw. Service was great too.

When we first sat down we didn’t find many vegan options but the wait staff gave us some vegan options to the regular menu item and they were wonderful, I had the Thai noodle dish with portobellos, spicy, but I highly recommend. Also the Brussels...More

Was invited to a impromptu dinner with family at the Fieldhouse, wasn't sure if I'd like or not since I never heard of it. So glad I went. The food is locally sourced and fresh as possible, everything seems to be made from scratch, including...More

I am tired of fuss. Sauces, clever plating, too many ingredients. But I am always pleased with the food at The Fieldhouse. Chef Ben has a keen sense of what to add and what to leave out. Wonderful creative food, but never lacking smart preparation....More

I travel to Billings a lot as it's our "big city" and has shopping and concerts that people from my town want to go see. I was in town for the Rod Stewart Concert that I took my parents to. The food was fantastic and...More

The food here is innovative well prepared and delicious. If you are looking for classic American food with huge portions you will be disappointed. The potions are perfect for me. There is not a huge variety of choices on the menu. Personally I think this...More

Good service, good food. It may not be what I would consider ‘fine dining’ but I can be a little snobbish about it. The atmosphere and wine list were good. Meat and cheese tray was great! We had the lamb and burger and left satisfied....More

We had the huckleberry pancakes; they were burnt on one side. We had the bacon; it is side pork not bacon. Left hungry; the portions are tiny. The hostess was super friendly & the best part of our experience there.
