I live in Kansas City so believe me I know good bbq. I want brisket with some good bark, nice smoke ring and it to be tender. You can't fake good brisket, trust me. I was surprised to find this place in Billings. It's the...real deal. Great flavor and the spicy bbq sauce was also very good on the side. I liked the thicker cut to help keep it juicy. No frills bbq, just the way I like it!More

Very good food. Tasty and moist, the brisket hit the spot. Fast service with a steady stream of customers. Good value at $12 for brisket and 2 sides. Sweet potatoes were hot and delicious.

“Best in Billings “ was a statement made by one of the locals I talked to. I had a half rack of ribs for lunch, garden salad and a baked yam plus a Coke Zero all for $14.00. Ribs are not wood smoked, rub was...nothing special and they were a tad on the dry side. Yam was great and tasty. Salad was all iceberg, a slice or two of purple cabbage and a smattering of carrot slices. Price is good but I have to rate the ribs as average compared to other ribs I’ve had around the country.More

As we travel, we're always checking out bbq places. This was a great find. It's a small place attached to a gas station. The smell alone will make you want to come in as their smoker is right behind the store. I ordered the small...rib plate which cane with 2 sides. I had potato salad along with a yam/sweet potato. The ribs were so tender I didn't need a knife to cut thru them. The potato salad is definitely homemade and very tasty. They have 2 different sauces..mild and hot. Both homemade and tasty. I used the hot, which really isn't very hot. My husband ordered brisket and sausage and said were both very good. He had coleslaw which is also homemade and tasty. All was extremely good and priced reasonably.More

It’s housed in a modest building adjacent to a gas station but you can smell the goodness from the street. We love the ribs, turkey, and brisket. Their baked beans and ranch pasta salad are delicious, too. They know how to BBQ!

Take it from a fat guy that loves his BBQ: this is the real deal. Tried the brisket plate with beans. Stole a rib off another plate. It’s all amazing. You may not think it is what it is when you pull up. You may...even think about crossing the street to another place before going in here. Don’t. Blue’s knows how to do it right.More
