The view of Flathead lake is spectacular, the veranda was packed with people. We didn’t mind waiting to be served but the menu was very sparse apparently due to trucking problems. The gyro tacos were tasty going down but giving us trouble later. Our drinks were adequate.

Great view of the lake...on the water. This establishment is one of several places on the water, and they all are pretty much the same, but this one charges 15-20% more for drinks and food. We like to try new places wherever we go and just 100 yards to the north, with the same view, is a place far less costly with waterfront seating to boot.

Not impressed by this place. It looks appealing because it has very casual atmosphere, both upstairs and downstairs. Beautiful view of the water. Typical bar food type menu. Service for us was weak, even though it was not crowded. Very slow getting service. Although the waitress blamed the slow kitchen, Having personally waited tables for years and watching her, I suspect it was really a bad waitress issue. :-)

This small restaurant was recommended by a local so we thought we would give it a try. We wanted a good burger. I found the menu limited and for what we got pricey. The $3 Marguerita Monday was premixed from Costco poured into a plastic cup. The burgers were dry and the so called calamari was lacking and overcooked too. The main problem I had with this little place was the lack of service. As we were leaving, one of the patrons spilled a drink which ran all, over the place and splattered me a little. The staff could not have cared less about helping this young man out, who was so embarrassed. They brought a dish cloth to him and had him try and wipe up the flooring after having spilt a full drink. The young man then took the rag and wiped the table. I was mortified. There was no assistance from the waitress Ashely or any other staff to clean up the mess. As we left the staff were just standing around the bar yucking it up and having a good time. I asked if they were not going to bring a mop and clean up y[the mess and Miss Ashley said they didn’t have a mop! Wtf . How do they clean up a night? Do the floors ever get mopped? Did the dish cloth that wiped the floor , get used to clean other tables? Not impressed and would not recommend this place at all. Obviously the staff did not give a damn.

We have routinely stopped at The Raven over the years for the atmosphere and food. Well sadly something has gone wrong. We ordered four different meals and none of them were good or prepared as the menu indicated or per our request. Like no salad dressing for a salad and then it taking ten minutes for the server to bring the salad dressing. Really disappointing and sad to see an old stalwart of the area go downhill. Hope you can turn it around.

Great spot for dinner and sunset, with a fun beachy vibe overlooking the lake! We spent the day in Glacier national park, and were looking for a place to grab dinner a little later in the evening on our way back towards Missoula. The Raven absolutely exceeded expectations, and we were so glad we stopped there. Watching the sunset over flathead lake while we enjoyed our dinner and drinks was the perfect way to end our long day out. My wife has a sensitive stomach, and the tri-tip tacos were perfect for her, gluten free and not greasy, while still being delicious and filling. Another friend and I enjoyed amazing burgers. The drink menu had a ton of fun variety, and a lot of local beer on tap. The food was great, the outdoors seating overlooking the lake had incredible views, all the staff were friendly and attentive.

So we stopped here while visiting the quaint town of Bigfork. We loved the town, albeit very small, and we wanted to eat at a place pn the lake. The Raven had several good reviews and we decided to try it. Parking can be a problem because of the very small parking section and we had to drive by several times before a spot came open. The restaurant has a great location with great views of the lake and if you are out boating on Flathead Lake it would be a natural to stop at because you can dock right at the restaurant. Now the but..... The wait staff is overloaded and service was slow and needed some encouragement. The menu is typical tourist type low end fare. I ordered the bison burger and it reminded me of simply any common burger I ever had and the fries that came with it were over cooked and not at all crispy. My daughter had the fish tacos which she termed as below average and not very tasty. The tables were not cleaned after each party left and the floor was sticky and dirty. Same with the bathroom. On my next visit to Bigfork, we will try somewhere else and forgo the view.

Didn’t even get to eat. There’s a disclaimer on the menu that says, if you’re in a hurry please go across the street to our sister restaurant with a bigger kitchen. Across the street had no view of Flathead Lake. We weren’t in a hurry so we stayed. It didn’t take long for our order to get placed. But then we noticed the two tables near us arrived after we did, got their food, ate and left before we saw our waiter again. After an hour and twenty minutes we demanded to know how much longer. The waiter didn’t know so I demanded he go and ask. He came back and said another twenty minutes. That’s when we knew our order had either been lost or never put in. So we left. Hiding behind a great view to cover up the worst possible service is no way to run a restaurant. They won’t miss us. The place was packed. The location must be expensive. Blame in on the pandemic and an inability to hire good help if you like but we never saw a manager. Just inexperienced young servers. I was in the hotel/restaurant business for 39 years. You can hide behind a great view for only so long. Then eventually people discover you either don’t know or don’t care.

We tried other restaurants in the area for a late lunch and all of them were rude and couldn’t be bothered to take our business. This place was amazing. They greeted us and welcomed us. The food was amazing and the seating by the lake was so nice and relaxing. The food took some time but it is a small kitchen and we weren’t in rush. Perfect place to talk, eat and have a drink.

Ordered the Bison burger with sweet potato fries and it was perfectly done and tasted really good. Also ordered the Pad Thai and it was very good. The service was great and our waitress (Candace) was very helpful. I’d recommend this for anyone wanting a great meal with a great view of FlatHead lake. Sit outside cause the view is phenomenal!!! I could see this place getting really busy at peak times.

We were there for dinner last week. It was busy but not packed. Waited to get any attention, then forever to get our drinks and even longer to get dinner. We almost got up and left. The waitress was nice enough but we had to ask for everything...napkins, more water, flatware, salt/pepper. It got silly. Fish tacos were good but not great. I dont like leaving negative reviews but it was a bad experience. The view was very nice

Our drinks came right away and then we waited almost an hour to place our orders. Another hour to get our food. Three of us ordered the fish tacos which were cold and on stale Tortillas. They were awful. My recommendation would be to adhere to the disclaimer and go across the street to eat.

Went there on a Friday, no servers downstairs till 4:30, saw some servers upstairs but no one helped us. We ordered drinks and “shrimp on the barB”. Waited and waited, ordered another drink, waited and waited. Finally asked about our food after seeing other people get their food who were seated after us. Turns out that our food order was never placed!!! They brought us complimentary drinks but we had already had enough! They didn’t charge us for drinks but NO food! We had a great experience the day before but this time it was ridiculous!! I heard a waiter say that they can’t get anyone to work! Really? We won’t be back! Too bad.

We kayaked to the Raven and tied up at their dock. Ate on the lower patio and had burgers. Very average food. Can not beat the location tho! Great spot to enjoy the lake. Restaurant is festive and has a fun vibe. The night before we ate across the street at their sister restaurant, the Bonfire, and heard live music playing! Had to check it out! Listened to a great duo from Canada playing country folk. Was really fun. Drinks were poured fair and prices were fair.
