The ambience was great for a date night at the mountain base but the experience was mediocre. The food was overpriced for the quality and taste. We ordered the prime rib which was nothing special, a bit tough and the au jus had minimal flavor. The views were spectacular and the bar drinks were strong but our meal was unimpressive.... More

The manager of this restaurant made the experience a great experience. He was outgoing and friendly to everyone, he sang to people (sang to me when he delivered my breakfast) - just a happy, outgoing wonderful person who made my stay better!

We were in Big Sky for a work function and on one of the few times we were able to break for lunch, we ate at the Carabiner. I had a grilled cheese and tomato soup. Because you're in Big Sky things cost a little more than they would if you were in downtown Bozeman, so while lunch was good,... More

You have to meet Ricardo, hands down. What an amazing personality and amazing guest service. I had the French Toast and it was so good I didn't even have to put syrup on it. I'm definitely coming back for dinner.

very much enjoy the atmosphere and the food when out at Big Sky - staff is always good to us even - whenever we have had an issue - things are taken care of no question - doesn't happen much though.

Just finished a 3 course for $30 meal . No choices but it was amazing. I will say the salad dressing was a bit too strong and I didn't love it BUT the main course was to die for, the quail topped with a cilantro gremoulata etc was a flavor combination I can't explain other than delicious and amazing. It... More

We were hungry and so picked this place quickly. View was good but food took a long time and was mediocre. Try the other restaurant nearby we were underwhelmed.

Quiet dining. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu items. We had the elk steaks which were amazing. The desserts didn't disappoint us either.

Love this place, more action in summer, but Summit is always the best place on the mountain. Gotta go heading back there right now.

Thank Rick P
