This is the last "liftie" bar in Big Sky - an endearing term for where the lift operators go for a beer after work. All the other bars in Big Sky have gone high-end with foofy drinks and expensive prices. It is a resort town, so all places charge more than they would if it were not a resort town.... More

Soooo. As a Bozeman native and someone who plans to buy a house in Big Sky this place stung a bit as we treated, or tried to treat a friend to a taste of the Big Sky. We got here about an hour and forty five minutes ago. Sat down and waited for 10 minutes before asking the bartender if... More

I apologize for the many things that went wrong with your visit the other night. There is no one other than me to blame. We messed up. I was not there but watched the event unfold on my cameras. Before this review came in I had already started the process to fix what I witnessed. All I can do at... More

Ate here when we arrived in Big Sky. Decent food but absolutely nobody else in the place. Not a ton of options and prices weren't great. I'm sure it's better as a mid-season (January-February) late night bar, but 8pm dinner in March wasn't good.

We ate here twice on our ski trip in Feb. Food was good, Beer was even better. Good service in a Montana laid back kinda way. Don't miss it if you go to Big Sky !

Went after skiing, packed house. Lively crowd, great nachos. Live entertainment that night (one of our favorite performers: Mark Davidson).

Scissorbills is perfect for ski in - ski out as it is just a quick stop after skiing Silverknife. I can recommend the dark stout. Very strong 7.4 but a bargain for $5.50

Enjoyed playing ping pong and listening to an acoustic performance. Great energy and worth the visit. Beer selection is good. Service was better than average.

Okay bar. The place to be if you want to hang out with the locals. Limited menu of bar food, and a few craft beers along with the standards.

On our last night, our friends from England wanted "American" nachos and based on the recommendation of someone in our hotel, we got take out from here. When we got them back to the room, they seriously looked like they came from Taco Bell. They had a nacho flavored cheese sauce on them with olives. We asked for the onions... More
