We ate breakfast at the Peaks for the last 4 days. Always great! Manager in the morning is great, funny, definitely a morning person and has the place running great. Unfortunately, dinner is horrible. I blame the manager and actually told him that after our second encounter with him in 2 days. First night, we decided the place looked nice,... More

The restaurant has a good location in the Summit resort. The place has dark painted walls which makes the room very dark and outdated the chairs are uncomfortable and cheap looking. Service was average. The Foie Gras entrée did not came close to Foie Gras. The lobster Manhattan steak combo came with cold steak the lobster was good. The huckleberry... More

We came to Peaks hoping it would be our delicious final meal of vacation. We were incredibly wrong. Martinis were lukewarm with wilting olives served in the wrong glasses. Lobster bisque was served cold and presentation was kind of thrown at my fiancee. Caesar salad was fine but nothing to write home about. We were so disappointed that we left... More

Staying at the Summit, the breakfast buffet is included in your stay. But this isn't just your usual cold cereal, scrambled eggs and some waffles under a warming light. Oh no..........this is a BUFFET! There is an omelet station. There are waffles with a great variety of toppings. There are all sorts of muffins and breads. There are daily specials... More

Thought this might be a promising place by reviewing the menu but sadly it did disappoint. The Bison Ribeye was 1/4 inch thick, fish special had no flavor, bread had a freezer burn taste, and it took 20 minutes for the cocktails to arrive. Sadly, the staff seemed overwhelmed and not too happy. With a few tweaks this spot could... More

We ate breakfast here every day during a 2 week stay and it was outstanding. A really great hot and cold buffet with good service from the staff and a really special welcome each day from Rick, the restaurant manager. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening (although it looked good) but we did use the bar and,... More

We stayed at the Summit and were looking for a hearty skiers breakfast before heading to the slopes. Peaks did not disappoint. It was a full option buffet. Including Dillion making omelets, eggs benedict and other special requests with a great attitude. By the third day he remembered me, and already knew what I wanted. There were waffles and pancakes... Had a wonderful dinner with family here 2 weeks ago. Food was all done perfectly. We all went for the bone-in Cowboy ribeye and it did not disappoint. Have not eaten here in years and I definitely notice improved service and overall visit experience was great. Appears there is a new manager since last we ate here. make a reservation... More

Big Sky fine dining is a bit behind in sophistication, as this place demonstrates. The staff is friendly, but has no expertise. The food is good, and the surroundings comfortable and pleasant. Hopefully they can kick it up a notch, as the location inside the Summit Hotel is the most convenient if you're staying at Big Sky Resort.

Arrived late into Big Sky and after looking at a few options, dined at Peaks. The restaurant is centrally located in the Mountain Village near the slopes/hotels which is convenient. I was very impressed with the cuisine which was mostly regional fare--when you're in Montana, take advantage of the local meat options. The Elk and Bison options were delicious and... More
