I always order the steak and crab. The steak is a filet of tenderloin, a delicious potato covered in ranch, and sauteed vegetables. The steak sauce is unique and a delicious flavor that smothers the steak. It cuts like butter, and it is left with...a taste of satisfaction. I've read reviews of the price. Too expensive?! C'mon! It is top quality beef you don't get at a regular store. The sizes are huge. I've eaten many places that have the same priced ribeye and smaller. Ribeyes are huge! The ribeye my table got was approx. 32 ounces. I highly recommend. The place is very busy, so there will be a wait. Full and so happy that we came here!More

We visited the Cattle Baron for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The environment is a little rustic but the food was excellent as was the service. We had steaks and everyone left feeling they had just had a wonderful meal and positive experience....Will certainly go back when we visit Babb again.More

Everyone loved their food. That's not the beef (no pun intended). I had a wonderful beef tenderloin (although go without the crab meat. It didn't add anything). Their meat sauce is wonderful, too. However, $35-$40 dollars for a steak entree? Yeesh! I guess with the...words "supper club" in your title you can charge more. There aren't many restaurants to choose from here and they know it. Just know before going that you will pay way more than you want to. You will receive enough sides to fill you up, though.More

We had the shimp and tenderloin. Steaks were so tender that a butter knife is all you need, very unique steak sauce, absolutely the best steaks we've ever eaten!!! Side salad was delicious and seasoned like no other. Would recommend to all travelers that visit...Glacier National Park.More

Best steak ever!! We ate here after visiting Many Glacier Hotel. The steak was fabulous. Loved the rolls! And the service was good.

Service was a zero. Food was a 3. We were seated at 645pm. At 7:10 we asked the hostess where our waitress might be since others had been addressed, served water, and had drink orders taken. At 7:20, “Tiara” the waitress arrived to apologize and...mention that there was a big party seated and that the hostess had not told her that she had our table as a responsibility. Tiara took another 15 minutes to bring Shirley temples for our kids. The rest of dinner went similarly - abhorrent service considering the average price for a meal is $40+., coupled with excuses. Next, the food. Very much OK. Nothing worth anywhere near the price. The “house made potato” dish served with every steak was actually 1/4 potato sliced and covered with ranch. The filets were quoted as 8ounces but were smaller and fatty. Italian salad dressing was tasty. This is one of 2 restaurant me within 20 miles or so. Roll the dice if you wish, but for my money, I’d rather go hungry then be met with disrespectful service while eating a substandard meal. Never will return.More

Service was incredibly slow. I had to send a steak back for being well done when asked for rare. Came back medium rare but very tender. I forgive the slow service. Everyone is understaffed but the kitchen expediter yelling down over the balustrade to the...lower level for pick ups right beside our table was really unprofessional and interrupted our conversation and meal multiple times. Food was ok but nothing to brag about especially at those prices. It took over 2 hours to have dinner with no appetizers.More

We have been here several times over the past 10 years. We make it a point to eat here when in Babb Montana. The steaks are really big and are real good! The homemade bread they serve is good also. It is a little pricey...but it is good. We actually share a ribeye steak and just order an extra baked potato and salad. Try it the next time you pass through Babb.More

We liked this place so much, we went two times. The steaks and sides are delicious. The servings are very large, so we shared one entree both times. It is a unique atmosphere with beautiful wood incorporated everwhere, including the twisting stairs to get to...the restaurant, which is on the second level. There is a bar on the entry level. You won't regret eating here!More

There are only a few places to eat in Babb, but the quality of steak was really impressive. We had a really nice dinner here after a long day of hiking and enjoyed the completeness of the meal. Would definitely go back if in the...area again.More

Thronson’s is right across the street with a General Store. Not the best but it works. Better yet is the Lodge at St Mary’s about 12 miles down the road in season. Great staff and facilities.
