The best restaurant in Ksamil. I took my time to see what other people said because I was really surprised Guvat is not #1 in Tripadvisor for Ksamil. Obviously most people look for cheap stuff and pay no respect to the place but expect to...be respected. What a joke. Let me tell you… I have been in the hospitality business for 19+ years, I have been to many restaurants around the world. I have been visiting Ksamil for four consecutive years and so far I do not think there is a better place to have a great dinner experience around. Okay maybe the seabass is 300 lek cheaper in another restaurant. So what? Guvat serves you on clean tablecloths made of fabric, not taverna style paper. Then they give you premium quality olive oil to season your food and also a nice spread to compliment the bread. So guys… if you are aiming for a cheap place go to a fast food restaurant. This is a restaurant for people that have an eye for the details and understand what quality food is. They also have the most extended drinks selection that I have seen in Albania! I am a freak about good service and I can tell you they are good. It is not hard to tell. They welcome you nicely, serve good quality food and drinks and all this in a great ambience. It might be a bit more expensive than the surrounding restaurants but come on… 3 course dinner for two including wild fish carpaccio plus a bottle of good wine and a digestive for less than 100 euros? Overall - the best restaurant in Ksamil. I was sure that’s the case the first moment I saw it and it did not disappoint. Strongly recommended!More

Very relaxed restaurant at the beach. Very stylish interior, look a bit more stylish than the other places in the neighbourhood. Food really great. We had lamb ribs and grilled octopus. The portion of the octopus was a bit small, but just enough. Both dishes...were really great. The bread with special butter was also very good. The White House-wine is very tasty ( from the Berat region). The manager and staff was very helpful.More

Nice dinner, you can feel fresh (not frozen) food. A girl which took a reservation behind the bar was very polite and helpful. Promised us a table at the front line and kept her promise :) asked to wait few mins to have a drink,...but we had what expected. Small delay with a food order, because of busy night, but our waiter Hairi fixed the problem :) thank you for hospitality and soving out problems here and now! Best wishes from Lithuania.More

Not recommending to anyone. I came here to buy 10 desserts at the table, we were 2 persons and there were at least 8 free tables. When we arrived the waiter told us to choose a table and when we wanted to order the other...waiter told us that we have to leave because you have to buy food from the restaurant. I told them I want 20 portions dessert for my girlfriend and I and the decision was the same. We were nice dressed and not drunk or high and it was 22:30 o’clock. Hate this place, worst employees and rules ever met.More

We live in Albania for 9 days. On the last night, we thought we needed a dinner with a beautiful view of the sea. It was, but... Let's start with the fact that we ordered two portions with mussels. Since we had visited the mussel...tour in Ksamil, we know what clean mussels look like. We were brought dirty mussels from outside and inside. The other mussels were empty .The main course was edible but unseasoned and dry. After that, we waited for the sweet food, which was not brought even after 25 minutes of waiting. The attitude from the staff was disgusting. No one respects tourists here. I have already seen this in other people's reviews. When paying, we were considered fools for not knowing what clean mussels look like and what they should be. The manager was completely indifferent to this situation. I don't understand how this place can be so highly ranked, maybe there is a different attitude towards Albanians. I definitely do not recommend this place for tourists.More

The view with the sunset was stunning and beautiful. The food was tasty and the staff was nice and helpful. I recommend to reserve a table in summer.

to avoid both the beach and the restaurant Our first interaction was with the restaurant, one evening we decided to have dinner here at the entrance, the patron asked us if we wanted to have dinner, and I said yes, but honestly, I thought about...the old days when, even in Romania, if you didn't eat at a restaurant, you had to leave The food is good but quite expensive, and the waiters are of a rare indolence On leaving, after waiting for the bill for 30 minutes, we were suggested to go to the bar to pay, and there, to our surprise, we were swindled with 1000 leka, somewhere around 40 ron The beach being beautiful and apparently discreet, the ladies decided to stay here during the day The beach also has a kind of pontoon where we tried to dock a hydrobike so we could take the girls with us... the guy at the beach made a huge fuss that we are not allowed even though the beach has a pontoon At the beaches, you only get a sunbed if you come a day before making a reservation and if the person likes your girl, and you can't sit where you want, only where he wants, after about 3 hours, the individual comes to my chaise longue to inform me that I no longer have a reservation the next day Ok, I said let's go to the restaurant to drink something and possibly eat... honestly, I didn't really feel like what they had on the menu and I just decided to drink, the waiter came and told us that we can only eat food, we can't just serve food and effectively snatched the menus from our hands I usually don't do reviews like this... but for people who come to Albania, you should know that they are extremely disorganized and not hospitable at allMore

In the jungle of the offer of beaches, bars, restaurants, especially in mid August period, a thanks to Mr Arian, one of the two owners of this nice beach/restaurant, that has been kind and friendly with us, offering a service and kindness not so common...in Ksamil. Food is lovely as well, need to try. Thanks again!More

The place looked very good and the food was great , but the management and the waiters were very loud. Our waiter was polite and nice but it looked like they didn’t respect our visit. Other than the staff and lack of organisation everything else...was great.More

The restaurant overall looks good and the service was fast but the food was disappointing. The portions were small, the beef was brought in 15 minutes and did not taste good at all, it appeared to be boiled instead of medium grilled. We also ordered...a salad which had too much vinegar, you couldn't taste the vegetables at all. The chicken was ok and also the sea food. That's why I am giving 3 stars.More

Good view but the staff was so stressed and forgot us so many times. And when we waited 30 minutes to pay we went to the cashier but they ignored us there as well and were so stressed. Bad service. So the only good thing...was the view at the sunset. Food nothing special.More
