The food and staff here are amazing! I really do not understand the negativity. One, people complaining the steaks are not seasoned. Well If you like your steak to actually taste like STEAK and not garlicky Italian seasoned with hints of lime, smoked paprika and other exotic spices this place is the place to go. Two, Too expensive? The price I feel is comparable to other steak houses. $15.50 for a perfectly cooked NOT overly seasoned 8 oz sirloin steak, a delicious potato, a significantly sized salad and a large roll was a very reasonable price to me. Three, unfriendly wait staff? My waitress was amazing! Super attentive and always had my drink refilled.
I almost did not go here because of the negative reviews. I am glad I gave The Raging Bull a go because it is one of the most amazing steak houses I have been to AND definitely the best steak here in Warrensburg!
Ignore the nay sayers and give The Raging Bull a try. You WILL be glad you did!

I’ll start with the good - loved the ambiance of the place. Menu has variety. Military discount! Now the not so good - We started with pretzel sticks with cheese - alas nothing to write home about. My wife says her Prime rib was tough (expected better of a $29 steak). My burger the Big Blue just had a poor flavor combination…like maybe the olives should not be on the burger. The sugar bread was good, but the honey butter tasted as if it had been sitting in a fridge oncovered and absorbed some other flavors. Our grandson, having the same drink as me, never got a refill though we pretty much had the same quantity consumed. Our granddaughter was served a burger with ingredients she explicitly asked to be left off and the server (Craig) just scoffed at her saying, “Really?”….she ended up just picking off the onions and scraping off the cheese sauce. We did not have dessert. Pricey establishment, we expected better. Will not likely return.

My daughters took me there for Father's Day. I had been wanting to try it, but with the Pandemic it was not possible. The menu was very diverse, a little something for everyone. I enjoyed a ribeye steak, it was cooked to perfection just as I ordered, it was an excellent choice. The service was good and the prices were not out of line. If you want, smoked brisket tacos or stuffed chicken breast or just a fish sandwich it's all on the menu. It was my first visit, but it won't be my last.

We have no idea what some earlier writers found lacking at this amazing gem in Central Missouri. Todd Dale and family have converted an old building into a first class steak house with a twist of creativity. Everything we had was fabulous and the pricing was really affordable considering the quality of the offerings. You won't want to pass this one by.

My Dad had KC filet and he says it was very good! My husband had prime rib and it also good, My mom and I had the prosciutto chicken breast which was a mistake. It was dry and tasteless. I asked waitress for some sauce or something? I didn’t think BBQ sauce would have helped. The waitress did take 3.50 off the bill which was a nice gesture. We heard nothing from the manager. If you go, don’t get the chicken breast.

Good service excellent food. Quiet areas available. Wide ranging menu, big portion sizes, decent prices. Had a wine it was good and fair portion and price, strange stemless glass.
Went back later that night for deserts they were also excellent and big enough to take some home. Servers were attentive. Place is clean, reasonable parking.

I sat at the bar and enjoyed talking with the help. My cocktail was spot on. Reason-they have many unique bottles of liquor here, I mean many. The brisket vegetable soup could have been a meal. Good portion, very tasty. I thought I'd throw them a curve and get shrimp but they did not disappoint. This place rivals some of the big steak houses of KC. Try it!

Enjoyed it before and wanted to give it another try. Was enjoying until a large man comes in and sits down, sets up shop with his computer, keyboard, and cell phone and starts having a face time conversation. All this at the bar and he orders an ice tea? So, I move and enjoy my steak and potato. I ask the server if he realizes why I moved and he thinks noise. Partially right, this guys disturbing the environment. He says, well he comes in all the time and does that, he's a regular. Ok, see ya!

KC Strip was perfectly seasoned and delicious. Great space. Highly recommend. This place is head and shoulders above your typical small-town fare. Decent wine selection too.

Our family has eaten here several times and never had a bad meal. The steaks, french dip to the sandwiches are all delicious and well prepared.

Tried this when they first opened and understandably they didn't have their act together, but the food was mediocre at best. We tried it again tonight and to our dismay, regretted it. A steakhouse should be able to do steak. Nothing more needs to be said.

Visited the restaurant recently when taking our son back to college. Had an excellent experience. Everyone in our group of 9 had outstanding food. Cocktails were very good. Service was great. Highly recommend !

I was underwhelmed. While the steaks were cooked well, they were underseasoned. The lava potato was a gimmick and while it was fine, I would have preferred a regular baker. The bread was pretty good, but had sugar on the top. Not how I want to start a meal. I'm not opposed to spending $30 on a ribeye, but their ribeye wasn't worth it.
The service was poor. There were four other tables in the restaurant, but it took 10 minutes to be seated. The waitress didn't refill our drinks and asked if we needed boxes about 10 minutes after we got our food. She never brought a check. She loudly stated what our total was and then stuck our credit card into the machine on which she took our order. She then had to leave to retrieve our receipt.
We won't be back unless it's with other people who want to go.

What can I say except totally underwhelmed. From the moment we walked in with our 15 person business lunch in tow, we were met with frustration from the inexperienced hostess/waitress who was not dressed in a professional uniform or anything resembling appropriate attire but Instead, she wore a black Victoria Secret PINK hooded sweatshirt and jeans. She commented that they were expecting us and casually rolled her eyes. From just a quick glance around the building and decor, It was immediately clear that the owners had sunk a large chunk of change into creating the right atmosphere for a steakhouse but missed the mark when hiring the right waitstaff.
It was noon on a Wednesday and the place was dead. Maybe that was a hint of what was to come. We were seated and began ordering the drinks and appetizers. The waitress was unclear of how to efficiently take down the orders for such a large group so she had coaching from the owner standing off to the side. During a few of the orders she was noticeably frustrated with some of the requests and even made snarky comments to a few of the customers.
Soon after receiving our drinks and appetizers we ordered our mains. 4 of 15 people settled on an item dubbed the “Ultimate Steak Sandwich” (see attached pics). From the description and the $14.29 price tag, it sounded spectacular but as I’ll later describe, it was anything but.
After waiting nearly 45 mins for the food, a few of us asked what was taking so long. I got up and went in search of our waitress. I found her behind the bar with the owner making small talk. They noticed me, made eye contact, and quickly hurried off to the kitchen to check on the food. 5 mins later she emerged with other waitstaff members carrying our lunch plates.
When they handed me my order it was actually someone else's. I took a quick glance and realized my order was missing the $2 up charged fried jalapeño sticks. After switching plates with the rightful owner I surveyed my correct order. Between two halves of hollowed our bread were 5, yes 5, total cubes of steak and a mixture of veggies. Although tasty, it was underwhelming considering how much it cost and the flowery menu description talking it up as the owner’s “signature sandwhich”. Not being one to cause a fuss, I chocked it up to a learning experience.
Warrensburg, MO is not a big town and word travels fast. I probably don’t even need to write this review but I feel like it’s important for consumers to know what they are spending their hard earned cash on.
After we settled up our bills, I waited until everyone filed out of the resteraunt. I found one of the owners and the cook and offered some constructive feedback on the service and food. I explained how disappointed I was with the product I received. The owner and her son both explained that they normally use an 8 oz. sirloin for their “Ultimate Steak Sandwich”
I commented that there was no way my sandwich or my co-workers sandwiches had 8 oz. of steak on them and maybe had only 2. They replied that when they cut it up, sometimes the steak doesn’t get evenly distributed amongst the sandwiches or it falls into the waste trap on the grill. I replied that there were 4 of us who ordered the same sandwich and I think they used an 8 oz. steak divided four ways which would explain why we each only had about 2 oz of steak in our sandwiches. They offered no apologies or to credit my meal. Not even a discount card on a return visit.
Bottom line here is that the owners of Raging Bull Steakhouse sunk all their money into the resteraunt renovation and equipment. In order to recoup the enormous upfront overhead costs they incurred, they decided to hike up prices on menu items, cut portions where they could, and use inexperienced waitstaff (cheap labor). A wise man once said, a fool and his money will soon be parted. Buyer beware!!

Filet and smoked porkchop were well-prepared and had great flavor. Wide variety of sides, some creative. Not your normal, predictable steakhouse fare.
